Thats the biggest true. Also if someone is fully onto something, its normal he remains in silence for getting his work done, which is sacred to him and Jari's music is like a story as you said, it speaks. And also if you dont watch facebook or youtube about this, there is nothing to be worried about, all the things i have read about Wintersun and delays were just judges and asumptions. (although if there was someone doing this job instead of W - copywrighting, it would be maybe better, not because Jari has done bad job, but just to cut off people's asumptions and thoughts, redirect them one may say.) And i was thinking about the comeback too, that its much more marvelous then ever in metal history, again as you said. The Time package is so huge and suprising, that everyone must be speechless. And for its price its priceless. I would pay double money happily.

Plus, he loved poetry based in nature and as Jari's lyrics are so aimed at it, I truly believe that Tolkien would be astonished not just at the lyrics but the music as well

@tuulenkoti Yeah it really didn't fit Ensiferum at all. I'm obviously biased for Jari cleans in Ensiferum but power metal vocals just missed the vibe, should be more "heroic" sounding. I love Victory Songs but I must admit that Petri's cleans are not very good either, they're so weak and flat.

@@Wulfarwacht Abaolutely, it is now two different tracks, but Jari works flawless on he's own as well, that is not that common for solo artists to manage both instruments and vocals to perfection, Jari is certanly one if it's kind whan it come to the personal style and the lyrics does not feel plain or shallow as it often does for many other bands, personaly i like whan the lyrisc is timeless like thins and does fit into any era, realyty as well as magic, in future as well as in an aincient past. Ensiferum does actualy work perfect with female vicals as well in their style, i would set them somewhere in between Wintersun and Crimfall today. (Crimfall was a genuine masterpiece in my opinion, i realy hope there will be more of that in the future! That type of experimental vocals, especialy whan one try to mix male and female vocals that way does often fall flat, but that was just a massive hit on the nail in my opinion!).

I disagree. As a big fan of both bands, Ensiferum post Jari produced amazing albums like Dragonheads, Victory Songs, From Afar, and most recently Thalassic. Jari is for me one of the most talented musicians in metal, but Ensiferum has been doing great since they parted ways.

@@thegoblonoid Petri has never sung clean vocals on any "normal" Ensiferum song. There might be a non harsh part on Bonus Song (bonus song on One Man Army) by him but that's a joke track. After Iron and before Thalassic vast majority of lead clean vocals have been sung by Markus, e.g. Wanderer. You are likely referring to him. Sami has also been singing cleans but mostly together with Markus and less lead parts. He has very distinct sound compared to Markus. Best example of Sami leads is probably Midsummer Magic.

I’ll never forget seeing you guys in Dallas TX in 2018 after the show my friend, his wife, and myself approached the tour bus but got detoured by security saying “no fan access over here” we were saddened but understood THEN Jukka yelled out to us and told us he saw us “peek-a-booing over there” and decided to come chat with us and got a picture! People grow weary from long waits between albums, yes, but they also act like they were paying for the Time Package in 2017 since Jari was public with his intentions for the money. That's not fair to the artist. Fans paid for and received The Forest Seasons package in 2017. It was a mutual transaction and a good deal. Then Jari did what he said he was going to do and finished Time II. People should eat crow on this by public apology, groveling and then supporting the Time package.
