The best song in the album and one of the best of Wintersun. This song is just amazing, so passionate, beautiful lyrics, Jari vocals are just pure emotion...This song is just perfection

the individuality of Winter shows imo..that spring, sommer and autumn..pictures of being born..living ur life in high times as young human and finally being old and meeting death are things u share with others. But the loneliness u feel after u´ve lost someone special to ur live..u cannot share it..its in ur heart alone and u have to deal with it alone..

Perhaps react to the legendary debut album by Wintersun (the album's name is also Wintersun) released in 2004. The KZbin channel WuntersunExtras has the new remastered version of the album so I suggest checking that out. If course, Jari was a young guy when he made that, but the songs are incredible nonetheless. Very fast, intense, harsh, cold and super tight. Also some songs are also very beautiful. Terrorizer magazine included that album in their top 40 extreme metal albums of the century and rightly so.

I ordered that album a week ago after I listened it like 50 times from youtube ITS SO GOOD. It's a shame I found this band so late :/

Well actually, if you found them back in 2004, you would have to wait 8 excruciating years. You should actually count yourself lucky lol

I just recently finished WoT and man...what a chore that was lol. Good ending, though!
@Roderik957 жыл бұрын
Yeah there is a lot of filler in between the good parts for sure. I think it is worth it though when cool stuff happens though. The ending was really good, I agree!

Maybe try Wintersun - The Way Of the Fire live in Hollywood. It's the only song from their yet to be released and highly anticipated Time II album that's been played live so far and in my opinion its their best song ro this day with two totally incredible solos kzbin.info/www/bejne/a6quepKHerR7oq8

There's an acoustic version of this song too if that's your thing. You've mentioned Nightwish a few times, but I don't know if you're familiar with the bass player Marco's original band. If you aren't I would like to request Tarot - Pyre of Gods. I think they are somewhat underrated. Either way, your reactions are great!
@maltnmetal35647 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I am familiar with Tarot; great stuff! Also, it's funny you mention the acoustic version of this because it popped up after my reaction recording and I went ahead and gave it a listen. For reference, I am usually not a fan of acoustic versions of songs, especially heavy ones. Just a bias I have, not really sure why. Having said that, I was taken for a whole new emotional experience, that pretty much gave me a new respect and understanding of acoustic versions of songs.

This is definitely my favorite song on the album. So, I've gathered from some of your intros that you seem to be a gamer? I'm not sure if you're interested in metal covers of video game tracks, but I definitely know of a few that are extremely good. One, as you mentioned fantasy at the end of this video, is actually a metal cover of two World of Warcraft themes in one song. If you're interested check out "World of Warcraft - Hymn of the Firstborn Son (Original Cover of Stormwind/Anduin's Theme)." The song is by a dude called "Skar Productions" and the dude is extremely talented. I figure since you seem to like fantasy, video games, and metal, it would be something awesome to react to. Plus, not a lot of channels react to that kind of thing. (The original composer of one of the themes in game actually praised his cover, which is really cool).

I will definitely check this out! I am a fan of the 331ERock channel, as he does metal versions of a few video game soundtracks (most notably Chrono Trigger and the various character themes, and Skyrim).

Hey! As you are both an rpg player and a metal fan, I thought you'd enjoy a song by Visigoth - Dungeon Master! Aside from being a good track on its own, it doubles as a game of spotting all the pen and paper rpg references.
