Thank you for this awesome reaction :). I remember when i first time heard the song i was just left with my jaw on the floor. Now after hundreds of playthroughs of this whole album (i kid you not), still i get the shivers. Jari created something out of this world and yet so familiar, it is just unbelievable. This is truly a masterpiece. However, though this is somewhat of a controversial opinion, the Newest album The Forest Seasons (2017) is in my opinion the best album yet although the production is more primitive than this 2012 Time I concept album (or half of it). What makes it the best are the two last tracks, Autumn and Winter. Eternal Darkness and Loneliness. I hope to see your reactions to them. Eternal Darkness has the best written lyrics (Jari himself is especially proud of them) and the song is just massively epic and brutal chaotic black metal monstrosity and Loneliness is this harsh but very beautiful and slow metal ballad with clearly the best vocal performance by Jari. It's absolutely a must to check out and if you like black metal, then Eternal Darkness is also an absolute must to experience.

I would agree that The Forest Seasons is the best composition of Wintersun albums. However, every Wintersun album is a journey in of itself. The amount of effort that Jari puts into every album is the reason why it takes years to get a new Wintersun release. The man literally works from home. I think that is why Wintersun music is as good as it is. If they went "corporate" I think the music would suffer.
