That part before the guitar solo is so cool! Teemu playing some crazy arpeggios while Jari is singing and some of those notes match perfectly to some of the singing parts!

I can't really describe it. I heard it for the first time I guess two years ago. And cannot stop listening to it. It gives me pfff well how to describe it. Icy feelings (but in a good and iultra crystal clear sense) Nah I don't make sense. Brilliant song.

I first started listening to them around 2003 and I quickly fell in love. I knew Jari from Ensiferum but like you said, this checked every box for me. That span of time between albums was painful but the first album never got old. Its perfect in my opinion. I have wanted to see them live for 20 years so if you get a chance to see them live take it because it may never happen again. \m/

Anastasia you see Jari is up there with Devin Townsend as a “mad scientist” of music. I hear Jari is FINALLY about finished with new album and with two members of Wintersun over at Nightwish, the Nightwish shut down seems very timely for Kai and Jukka to be available to record album.

As far as I know Wintersun is still performing, although Kai and Jukka are now members of Nightwish. Yes this is superb, one of the best ever I´ve heard in my long life. Anastasia you did this good. You talk but not too much and there is a point in it. There is anyway more from this session like Land of Snow and Sorrow, this song tells more about Finnish way to take the life. There is a reason to take guitar lessons to understand these absolutely talented boys here. And btw. Finnish metal musicians are like one family, some I know and yes, they all are like teddy bears, when not on stage. Thank you for your comments and greets from Finland. Take care.

Last time and only second time wintersun was in the USA was in 2019 which I saw them drove two hours to Philly to see them and worth it. If you haven't heard of amorphis I say check them out. I would suggest towards and against live forging the land of thousand lakes in oulu

You have search from Jari's own KZbin channel Wintersun Jari. Jari is the mastermind behind the band and it started as his soloproject while he was still playing in Ensiferum (great Finnish metal band also 😊). They have three albums. First one is Wintersun and it has great songs like Death and Healing, Winter Madness, Starchild, Sadness and Hate all official lyric videos. Also other songs are great. Time 1 album has still one song from same rehearsals Land of Snow and Sorrow. Forest Season album has four songs to every season and all official lyric videos. Learning some guitar is a great idea to really appreciate just how good Jari is. I can't think of a more impressive guitarist, at least regarding technique. Watch The Way of Fire live (unreleased song) or Winter Madness live, I can't even breathe during their solos!!! Wintersun is also in my top 3 bands, and Jari is in my top 3 guitarists

I love when reactors pause, to say something on their mind, else i might as well could just watch the video myself right, so keep up pausing!! it only means i get input i didnt have before, and that is what a reaction channel should do, as well as seing how you react to it in general.. i love when you got something to say, that is a spice, that should not be removed from the cooking pot.. and im here because i like you as a reactor.. Wintersun made a handful of masterpieces, but not more, its kind of a shame the band is spilt up now, as Kai and Jukka now is part of Nightwish, but on the other hand im so grateful that Wintersun kind of saved Nightwish doing this, so its a two headed monster right, Nightwish might would have found other, but Kai seems like the right guy berhind the drums therer to, and Jukka fit in well to, so how would it have looked if those 2 guys didnt join?? thats a quistion with no answer of cause.. Therefore Wintersun deserves all respect, both for their fasntastic music, and what they did for Nightwish.. The Wintersun album Time, is a unique album, that took a very long time in production, and i think it shows, that this album in particular is a masterpiece, all songs have been a long time underway, before realese, and have been nursed, polished and improved throghout time.... I do have a suggestion for you, if you would like to see a younger version of Wintersun, from their selftitled album Wintersun, the song Beyond the dark sun, Jarl looks much younger here, its a short, fast paced song, only 2;48 minuttes, where Jarl growl, but its pretty neat i think check it out if you like, i post the link to the official video kzbin.info/www/bejne/eH6ZdKR9ep2HjbM
