Stay in Prayagraj during MahaKumbh has become expensive. Even for those who come there just for the Snaan, who stay for only few hours, have no proper information as to where they can keep their belongings for few hours. Also, there is very less information about modes of commuting to the ghats. Please throw some light on these points.

There is always something to complain about in spite of these historic arrangements made. When a minimum of 20-30 lakh people descend on a town in one single day, it is bound to be expensive and as for the belongings, people carry the bare minimum with them and leave the rest with a fellow traveler or in a nearby place of their stay (which could be 20-100 kms away). Since most pilgrims come in groups, this can easily be planned in advance.

@@aravindakumar1549 I do not have any reliable online source which I can recommend, but if you are solo, just take the chance and go ahead without a plan before Feb 26, you might be pleasantly surprised. Best things happen without plans or expectations. Travel light with minimum belongings.
