Regional language of our beloved PM Modi is Gujarati, you can understand why he didn't decide to speak in regional language gujarati/Kannada or even global language English. Hindi is prominent language of Hindustan. And by the way, only Hindi and English are official languages of our nation. I don't understand why few Kannada brothers don't take pride when Hindi is given importance, because somewhere you think it's just a regional language however that's not true because I am from Agra and my regional language is not Hindi but Braj Bhasha. If I start complaining why Hindi is given more importance than regional languages like Braj/awadhi/Bihari/haryanvi/punjabi/urdu/rajasthani. It will be ridiculous thought. So stop complaining when Hindi is given importance than any regional language of India.
