China is developing at such a rapid pace that it is creating the danger of far outdistancing the Western nations. It is concerning that we in the United States are facing a peerr competitor of which about 60% of its graduate students are majoring in the science and technology field. As an Electrical Engineering and Computer Science graduate from the United States seeing a nation of 1.4 billion Chinese people competing against our 350 million population, snd the dismal state of our high school graduates, it is really a crisis. The entire educational system in the United States should be privatized to compete with China, then we will have a chance to make America technologically advanced again from a manufacturing standpoint. Possibly over 50% of our post graduate students in the Science field are from overseas. Oh well.
