I was checking out Jade's YT channel and saw she actually got banned from buying from DIYMoonShop and was shocked. I know you had mentioned previously about their quality being a little hit or miss recently so when I went back and saw it was a DIYMoonShop kit and that was the company that didn't like feedback, I was expecting it. Just based on how they responded to Jade, I'm not shocked and that's so sad. I've been meaning to buy from them but the high prices put me off a bit and if you're not getting quality for the money, I'd rather put my money elsewhere.

I think this is orange. I love Jade. She is great. Looking forward to seeing your completed mystery kit. I, too, have a love/hate relationship with To-Do lists. I like to create them but my inner rebel never wants to check things off unless its urgent. Blessings on your family.

I’m so glad you said something about comparing to other diamond painters! Sometimes I feel weird for using the accessories that I do and not having all of the popular stuff. Also I’m autistic and have pathological demand avoidance, but I just make one giant to do list for the week and do what I can. So there’s things like call on a medical bill and work tasks and also things like read or go for a walk. Depending on how I’m feeling that day I may do the more strenuous tasks or if it’s a rough mental health day I’ll just read and go for a walk. Hope that helps and thanks for the awesome video!🧡

Thank you so much for talking about executive disfunction!!! It’s such a weird and frustrating thing to deal with!! For example I can be staring at the my laundry and that I WANT and NEED to do and I physically can not get my body to do it and then I feel absolutely awful and lazy for not doing it….. it’s so hard to try and explain to someone that doesn’t experience it. 🍊🍊🍊🎃🎃🎃

My experience with DIYmoon Shop hasn't been the best. I ordered my first two kits from them in December of last year and never received a notification about shipping, even at 8 weeks out. This wasn't that big of a deal because I wasn't in a hurry to get the kits but it did make me worry that there might have been something wrong with my order. When I contacted them they told me they were late because of the Chinese New Year and that it was out of their control. Which is fine, but I didn't like how dismissive they seemed about it. While shipping was out of their control, letting their customers know about the delay was not out of their control. Then when I finally did get my kits I was pretty disappointed with the quality. First off I knew they came with a paper legend which is not my favorite thing but also not the end of the world.. But what was really disappointing was that the printing on my paper legend was so blurry that I actually couldn't even read it and had to kit up using the legend on the canvas. Then there was the canvas itself which at first glance seemed very clear until I actually started working on it. There were certain areas of the canvas that were almost impossible to make out, particularly the lowercase a's & e's, the uppercase F's and E's,the ? symbol & the = symbol. Then on top of that the drills would not stop sliding all over the canvas. The whole experience just became frustrating and that's not how you want to feel when you spend that much money. I just feel like having clear communication and printing shouldn't be too much to ask for. I will say that I did have a good experience with their customer service but I've seen other people contact them for the same concerns that did not receive good customer service, which tells me that they are not consistent on that front. Also I just wanted to add that among other people who have had blurry canvases I noticed it always seems to concern the same symbols. When I contacted DIYmoon Shop and showed them a picture of the symbols on both of my canvases they stated that they should not look like that.. I got the impression that they were saying they were faulty canvases but I don't believe that to be the case. The chances of me having two randomly screwed up canvases just doesn't make sense. I believe it all comes down to bad symbol design/clarity in general, which if they really wanted to I think they could fix.

I think one think my health and disability have taught me is to not care what people think of you also not to compare. You can waste all your energy, time and peace of mind comparing to someone else. Instead focus on you and what you have. Focus on your happiness. Anytime you find your mind wandering to someone else comparing for example. Stop breathe and redirect to you. You’ll find a lot of peace when you can master that skill of not caring and just doing you ❤❤

I'm currently working on "Bunny & Gnome" from DAC and the colors are so pretty! yes, Supernatural!! I love that show! Haven't seen an episode since the finale though....and I'm in the minority of liking the finale, lol. I also have a hard time with comparing myself to others....I'm almost 30 and my mom and I share rent; I'm not married (or even dating), don't have kids, don't have my own place and I just see my high school and college friends on Facebook and most are married and/or have kids, their own place, etc. It's just hard to not compare.....

Pluggin away at my dakotathon piece and always love to listen to your wip and chats while I work! But I too love Sarah j mass, I listened to all of the acotar on audiobooks (while dping) and am reading throne of glass I’m on book 5, crescent city is definitely next!!! Looking forward to your full review on the kit you just finished. I had an iffy experience with the one I finished from them a couple months back and was shocked that with their kind of pricing the glue was so thin and candy drills so inconsistently sized I had to seal the painting as I went.😬 🦊🦊🦊

I am 35 min in and I’m listening to you talk about getting the first pic of your family in the longest time. If someone feels bad that you got a cute family photo on Easter, that is not a you problem. You are not in control other people’s feelings. And I am saying this from a place of love and kindness. I am so happy that you got a picture with your kids. It will be an important picture when they get older and now it’s on Facebook…it’s a back up in case you heaven forbid lose the original

Hi Katie. I have looked at the diamond paintings from Jaded Gem Shoppe and find them to be really nice The thing that is stopping me from purchasing a painting, is that I would prefer the legend on the side. In addition, it would make more sense to put the drills in one plastic bag. I would imagine it would save time. These are just my feelings.

I want to thank you so much for recommending the Court of Thorns and Roses series. I listened to the first one on audio and have been reading the second book in the series, as in the physical book. It’s over 600 pages and a hulk to hold, plus I usually have a book light attached. I am so sucked in and already have the 3rd book ready to read as soon as I finish this one. It has been such a great read and I never would have heard about it had you not talked about it, so thank you, thank you, thank you!🌅

I would say if you're having an issue with finding the symbols go by the left side numbers (1- 36 or whatever.).🟠🟧

As someone with suspected but not confirmed ASD and ADHD (confirmed), like you, I also have the feeling of not being enough. I do try to remind myself that comparison is the thief of joy and that it doesn’t matter what anyone else is doing or what they think. I can just be me and like what I like. Of course, that is also if I can overcome rejection sensitivity that comes hand in hand with ASD/ADHD. There is so much more I could say but I’ll end with … it’s hard to human. 🔶 🟠
