The loops in Rainbow Road were funny, but what made this race even better was the comeback! Once you got over the loop, I was on the edge of my seat, hoping you didn't fall in the end, but you didn’t and it was incredible! Overall, this was fun to watch.

I love how this mod makes karts viable again and seemingly able to out-pace bikes. I do believe a little tweaking would be needed but so far from what I'm seeing this balances out both kart and bike players with the knowledge of both DS and Wii's mechanics pretty well.

as someone who still plays MKDS regularly to this day, this is VERY exciting and something I desperately need to download when available - hopefully more of ROB's DS sounds can be used though? His current voice seems to be made up of distorted King Boo and other character sounds, so fingers crossed this gets updated

Sorry, but since the character is over King Boo's character slot and his voice clips are quite hard to modify as they differ from how other characters use their clips, it is too much work to start editing each to sound proper. And to my knowledge this character mod already uses ROB's original sounds and as it has been put over King Boo that's why they sometimes sound dissorted, too high pitched etc. You can check the mod from here for more details: gamebanana.com/mods/421826

This looks so incredibly faithful, I live for mods like this. All the DS details feel completely untouched from the original DS ROM, I think because they literally are, and if so I have huge respect for that.

This looks really nice so far! Although I don't think the items should be shown on the minimap, it worked for DS since it was on a separate screen; here, not so much. And then there are situations where the items fly out of bounds, like the green shells around the 7:28 mark, which is kind of distracting.

Just a few suggestions, - Fix the Rainbow Road loop and corkscrew so they actually work properly - Fix the music of RR's final lap, it should be higher pitched than whatever version the Wii port has - If you're going to change voicelines in the game, use Double Dash's voice lines as they are more higher quality than the DS versions - If the DS tracks have any existing variants in MK7, use their music as they're even higher quality Overall, I look very forward to this :D
