Love a Shay Shay WIP n Chat!!!! You were clearly not meant to have that particular job so that you could make these memories with Lu over the summer. We only get so much time with our kiddos before they fly the nest so I'm glad you are getting to be with her. The right job at the right time will happen, I know it! You digging through the trash looking for the credit card reminds me of my mom digging through trash cans at a mall food court growing up because she lost her retainer and knew our family didn't have the funds to replace it. Love seeing your retreat painting coming to life. I haven't diamond painted since the retreat and we all know not much diamond painting happened then.

Hi Shay! Thanks for your video. Glad you had a fun day at the beach! Sorry about the job but maybe it is a sign. The right one will come your way. I framed a DP for my neighbour’s Mom while you chatted. She is 90 and recently started diamond painting. Gave her some of my budget canvasses and she is working through them. Her retirement residence has a diamond painting group and she invited me to come along…been there twice. Fun group of ladies! Have a great week! ❤️💎

I'm doing well. My son's last day of school is tomorrow, so summer is about to start for us. I hope I can keep him entertained all summer. That is crazy about the high water at your lake. How cool is that. I'm sorry to hear about the job. There's something out there for you that is a better fit. I also love kitting up a new painting. It's the fun part for sure. Hi Shay Shay! I’m doing well. Saw the surgeon and he said my incision looks good. As for kitting up it’s my favorite thing to do in diamond painting. I’m sorry you didn’t get the job but you’ll find something else. Don’t get discouraged especially in the summer when places don’t do much hiring. You’ll probably find something in the fall. Hi Shay, good evening from Southern California. Love your WIP and chat. Two weeks ago I almost fell over two rugs on the front porch. Later on I finished Diamond painting, stood up and something in my back popped. Thought nothing about it. Well, went to get up Saturday morning and I could not move. The pain was horrible. I had to take Tynanol 3, Zanaflex, three Advil, and two extra strength Tynanol. Yes, I am a big baby when it comes to pain. I didn't Diamond paint for two weeks. I started back on Sunday for 38mins, and Monday for 19mins. That was it. Well, I am an old chick of 67. I have never married or had children. Never meant the right one. My parents and sister have passed on. So I have a personal assistant. I am severely ADHD, and my assistant keeps asking when I will be cured. I told her ADHD is not like Bronchitis. You can't take Z-PAK and get well. I take Strattera, Lexapro, and Trazodone. If I would have in that lake I would have been screaming my lungs out. I am glad you at fun at your retreat. Never gone to a retreat. I know my personal assistant would insist on going also. My 10 year old Doxle ( Dachshund Beagle mix) Herschel Andromeda Warman wants to meet your dogs. Have you seen a photo of Herschel? He is very cute. Enjoy your weekend.

Thanks for the chat Shay. I am doing pretty good this week and have finally finished up all the flower planting and can just now sit back enjoy and water pretty much everyday...lol. It sounds like you had a great day at the "beach". Those are the only kind of " beaches" we have here in Illinois too....no oceans anywhere close. Your poor daughter! As for forgetting don’t feel bad! I missed an appointment because I put the wrong day on the calendar. I totally get retreat fog. The one and only digital scrapbook retreat I went to a few years ago, came back with a major ear infection. Can’t fly no more. Prefer the train anyway and I’m currently working on a blue kitten partial plus a huacan tree of life with 4! ABS!! It’s driving me nuts!

Forgetting your parents- that id hilarious! That so sounds like something I would do. My parents recently moved near me, but for 35 years before they lived about 7 hours away. I had nightmares that I would forget they were coming. It never happened because they would call me 25 times before they came and at least twice when they were on the road!!

My in-laws were visiting for the past 2 weeks. They are amazing. We had so much fun and we got a ton of stuff done. Now they are gone and the house is so empty. Now it’s back to the grind and catching up on turning pens. Other than that, just trying to stay out of the heat here in FL which is not easy.

I’ve been taking Cymbalta since Feb. everyone says I’m calmer and I feel calmer. It’s not a big difference but it’s there. I also think I have less anxiety. I used to take Lexapro. I changed due to the pain from fibromyalgia. So life is good. It’s very hot today and humid. It should rain later this afternoon. Always enjoy your Wip&Chats ❤

Hi Shay, I love your videos while I am diamond painting. I am ok, still recovering from total knee replacement. I am currently working on Diamond art club, Cabin by the lake. I am working on starting my own channel. I am very nervous. Everyday I say ok I will do it today, but I don’t. I don’t know how to do everything, and I feel like I will fail. I left my credit card at the pharmacy drive thru yesterday! They usually send it back in the tube with the clipboard OR put in the bag, but they did neither and I get almost home and they call me telling me they have my card 😂

Digital experience = Social Media. The company I work with uses a lot of those types of buzzwords. 😉 Unfortunately, a lot of us older, but not old, employees are getting pushed out of available positions because we don't have the newest experience with virtual interaction. What they don't understand is that personal interaction is very very important, and that type of experience is not replaceable. Anyway, keep your chin up, and I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get something soon after school starts. I wish I could have been at your retreat. You all sound like you had a blast!

I had a hysterectomy about 10 years ago. The thing left is my ovaries, so I don't see a gynecologist. Primary care Dr. said I don't need to have any more exams. Hmm. Maybe I should do more research.
