Juan, you have nothing to be ashamed of. Back in the day men were the makers of fabrics and did all the sewing and crocheting and knitting. I think more people should know how. Men and women. My grandson is learning. You are inspirational.

Hi Juan, I know this an older of video of yours, but I am watching it for the first time right now. I cannot say that I know how you felt losing the love of your life, but I know what it feels like to feel that low in life and how it can cause you to lose focus on taking care of yourself. I did not lose the love of my life, but the person who was suppose to be the love of my life made me feel sad, lonely and like I would never be right, or enough. I spent 17 years in this and we have 2 children together. I got to a place where I gained a lot of weight and had completely lost who I was. I found the strength to end that situation 2 and half years ago and since then have found the love of my life, have regained my health and regained my self-worth. I am so glad that someone reached out to you and helped you because you are an absolute gem! I love crocheting or knitting and having Juan on in the background. Keep being you and all the things!

I don't doubt for a second that you will have a lasting positive impact on many lives. I found you just before your Crystalization and was immediatley drawn to you...seems 'been through it' recognizes 'been through it'! Katie is an angel - everyone should have a Katie! Juan, you are the most real, raw, and heartfelt person to grace the crochet community. You had me in tears with your story. I totally understand neglecting yourself due to pain, I have been there. I myself went thru some life situations that no one should have to endure and neglected myself and made everyone else a priority. I knew I was having some health issues but when I did go I kept being misdiagnosed for so long, and in the meanwhile was getting worse. I worked in nursing and finally one of the Drs I worked under had a referral done and 2 specialists later and a summer full of testing I was diagnosed with MS. But I had gotten to the point it wasn't safe for me to continue working unfortunately. Losing a career along with everything else, Crochet became my saving grace much like you. And therapy was also imperative. So since I couldn't continue to help people by working in the medical field, I started a small group of ladies here in my county and we crochet blankets and other items for Hospice patients. We all have e to have a purpose we just don't always know what it is and it happens when we least expect it. You my dear have found your purpose and you have built your tribe that loves and adores you. Sorry for the novel, but just know that you are never alone on that island. Sending hugs and love to you and momma Wilma ❤

I'm dealing with my mental health by volunteering 3 times a week for the less fortunate and it has really helped. I hope that in a similar way, that the way you give of yourself to us, that you feel some joy in that giving! Not picking on you Juan. I love you and what you do. That is an annual summer blooming flower! It’s quite beautiful! You should look it up. Several beautiful color varieties. I’m a gardener and I start those flowers from seed every spring, for beautiful summer color! 🥰♥️

You owe us 5 minutes 😆😂🤣. I have the lights that you wear around your neck too and it's one of my favorite accessories. My daughter goes to bed early when I visit. Some of us can stay up late lol! Her day will come. In that case I can knit with the lights off. She also likes me to make her items with dark colors and especially blacks and grays. I will put them on even in daylight to see the black stitches. In the summer it is cooler than having on the big lights. You had quite an interesting happy mail session today! ♥️🧶♥️!

Oh Juan, my friend, I am so sorry. Death is so damn painful. I understand. Ive been there. In depression I reached 400 lbs. very unhappy, working, working, commuting, sedentary. I changed too. Reached a healthy weight, healthy mind, and a part time job that is not sedentary, at a gorgeous local yarn shop yarn 5 minutes from home. Can you believe it ? Such a happy life now. Blessed. Then I went through the isolation of more family deaths during pandemic. Crazy time !! I'm healing and enjoying what each day brings. I hope you are too. Really do enjoy your channel. Thanks, you put a smile on my face every time I tune in. Love your Mom too. Be blessed.

I also lost 15 family and friends during that time, and at the end of the year, I married my husband. So much happened that year. Just need stitches that would match and need to decide the colors... Oh the choices Juan 💖🌞! I Love the Berrocco Sesame & the Coffee Shop Sundown 💖💖💖. I'm working on a Star Blanket for my precious Neice with my Fruit Punch, a matching Red with a lighter Turqoise & also a medium color of Teal / Turqoise color. I found them all in a bag. I fell into a week long coma back on January 2nd 2023. I was airlifted to Sarasota Memorial & they ran every test possible but never found a cause. I've had to learn how to Crochet all over again & my memory is horrible so I'm not sure what my plans were for these Yarn's. You brighten my day Juan with "AllTheThings" 💜🌞. Please tell Your Precious Mom Hello from Arcadia, Florida 💙🌞.
