Giiirrrrrlllll so many "I had a problem with this" WIPs!!!!! You need to unkit those and scratch them off your WIP list! Put the patterns back in stash and maybe some day in the future you can kit them up again with the expert knowledge you now have. Loved seeing them all!

I have come into 2024 with 45 WIPS, including my New Year New Start from January 1st. There is nothing wrong with having a lot of WIPS... I stitch over 300,000 stitches a year, if I had 1 WIP I might not get near that many... I love the different kinds of charts that I have on the go... I also have ones I have started with other stitchers, and that is always fun to stitch along! I did not realize you had a flosstube, I thought you just had an Etsy!!! I am originally from the 805... Pismo Beach!

Not many people know I have a flosstube because I’m not consistent lol. My MIL lives in Morro Bay so I know Pismo well. I wish I had 45 WIPS😊

This might be a wild question but go with it. I’m new to cross stitch. Why so many unfinished projects? My impulse is to start a project and stitch until it’s done before starting another but that seems to be unusual? What gives?

Welcome to cross stitch! Not a wild question. My husband asks me that all the time😂. Some of us are just crazy!! I like the process of starting new things but I have way too many!! Hope to get my number down this year🤞🏻

That's what I do, focus on one project and complete it then I can pick a new one that I love! Monogamous stitching. I would honestly become too anxious if I had many projects on the go. That's just me.

@@krisskross8985 yeah I just wonder about that but I’m so new I don’t have the experience to say why a person might do this. I just started watching videos and see people with tons of wips.

There’s two different types of stitchers, I’ve heard: process stitchers, people who like the stitching itself, like new starts, new patterns, fabric, etc; others are progress stitchers: they enjoy finishing things. Flosstubr example: Brenda and the Serial Starter.
