Wipers - Return of the Rat (drum cover)

Wipers original drummer, Sam Henry, passed away on the eve of Feb 20th 2022. I had the pleasure of meeting him and watching him play, he was very respected in the community. Sam had a jazz background and played traditional grip which is why I’m doing so in the video. Wipers were an incredibly influential band and even Nirvana has covered a few of their songs. This is a tribute to Sam Henry... RIP 🤘

Wow, thank you for paying tribute to his artistry beyond your local sphere and sharing with a broader audience. I wish I had known this band before now. And today marks another tough day with the loss of Mark Lanegan, although known for a different music genre and a different "instrument". Heavy hearts abound 😢
