You need more rations if you want to have more generals in battle

You can break the castle door from inside if you already in the castle. that way you can get decisive battle without having to wait the ram to break the castle door. EDIT: I commented to fast. he figured it out.

You can turn off the small in-battle cutscenes of the musou officer introductions, secret plans and siege weapon under Options-Game Settings. Now that you are Grand General, you can initiate invasions, change the positioning of which territory your officers are stationed in. Change positions does use up your monthly turn. It gets really important the more territories you control to get people into position for Invasions and Defense. Invasions uses up rations, so the more you have, the more officers that can join. Since your rations has been low the last few times, the ruler can't bring many officers to join. The officers also have to be inside the territory the Invasion starts from, plus you need to leave at least 1 officer in the territory.

Love your videos ever since I saw your first few 3 kingdoms total war videos! In case you were unaware, your reputation stats will have a strong influence on getting other officers to like you, so if you really want officers to like you, check which rep stats they like the best. Titles can also directly influence your rep stat gains, so make sure to look up what percentage they go up by to max-min gains and losses. Happy hunting!

You should keep track as well as increase your per turn coin and ration intake that should help alleviate rations/money. As grand general you can finally move people around by using changing positions in human affairs also would suggest doing recruitment to recuperate your troop levels.

I think that because other officer's unit number count is low then they are not being brought into the battle. It seems that max out units are being brought and officers with few unit count stay home and eat popcorn while hearing of your splendid achievements

Why did Ma Chao got a level up for eloquent after the battle? Was it because he was practicing some one-liners? Jokes aside, I hope that you get to swear brotherhood with Lu Bu before he gets tired of Ma Teng and leaves, as almost always happened in 8 Empires

Because the secret plan he chose was an eloquence one. If your plan succeeds you gain the corresponding rep. Your chosen title provides bonus gains to some and penalties to other categories.

Why you don't use auto-aiming on officers, it will make it easier for you to fight them

I would recommend the eraly stage to do Agricultral development. Since you have no control on who gets employed, your monthly income will take a hit. Each generic character is +100 coins/ ration Stepid while Musou characters are +150 each. Early stage don't take the siege ram bases when on the offense. When your siege ram gets destroyed you lose more moral than not capturing it all. Once infiltrated, break the castle door down from within to get Decisive Battle which greatly increase the tide of the battle and make it easier
