Good work. You many features that most DIY WEDM dont have. I did not see where you set the target volatge ( I suspect your control system tries to amintain a given gap volatge. Good on you! Thanks

there is no feed rate oin edm, the speed of the tool is determined by how well the cutting is. more important; than this question, underneath you dont know the edm motion is a chacha dance, usually forward , odten backward but just 1 step or two. A very good cut is usually foward along the programmed path. look uo 'stachostic', thats hwat EDN is

The wire doesn't touch the piece. The spark in the dieletric middle removes material from piece.
