why do you need both crocodile to test ? You could damage the device if there are high voltage present in that wires.

He didn't use it properly. One goes on the wire you want to track, the other goes on the ground. Would have been nice to see how it works, he just quickly tapped the cables instead showing the distance when it starts to give sound. I want to know how it would perform on a wire in the wall.
