Wire Whale

動くクジラの針金細工の第1号作品です。関節が多いほうがきれいに動くと思っていました。そのため構造が複雑になりましたが、クランクが動く様子は美しく、それなりにいいもんだと思っています。

Thank you for your comment, and I am so sorry for not replying for too many years. Please let me tell you something on the assumption that you are still interested in my work. There is no instruction. I am too lazy to make anything like an instruction or documentation. The mechanism is very simple as you see, but there are too many small matters around the combination of the materials or adjustments so on, to explain in words. In fact, it took many years of iterations to make it move modestly as I expected. I am still working on. But I can tell you that once you try to make it, you will learn that. It's so simple craft. So, I recommend you to just try it. It will bring you a lot of fun for sure. Good luck! If you may, please check out my latest version.
