I so appreciate your master classes. You got me back into crafting starting with the dragon eyes. Then I’ve watched you all during the pandemic. Lol. I’ve watched the other channels you’ve recommended too and I thank you for the heads up. I was able to get my granddaughter interested too. For the things I made I posted on Facebook to my friends and titled the album “Pandemic Playtime”. Great memories. And I’ve learned so much from you. Thank you.

Thank you SO much Von for talking about "teaching" and the ways that people learn!!! Truly, because I broke my back, not once but TWICE and it looks like I have more going on right now. Ie: I'm on a LOT of meds, 31 3 times a day, including some heavy duty things such as Morphine, Oxy, Gabapentin, Methocarbomol blah blah blah so truly thank you for taking your time and explaining things in different ways because I constantly have to rewind just so my brain will comprehend. :( I appreciate you and have learned SO much from you. Thank you doll. See you soon

I spit my coffee when you said you were making jewelry from acorns and dental floss. And after you discovered beads you stood broke. Both that I can relate to. I was making ear rings and necklaces with small rocks, acorns and anything I found in nature. 😂😂😂😂. I painted everything and dipped in acrylic. How I got introduced to real materials was from a man at work who said his wife wanted to get rid of all her jewelry making materials. I got everything a person could ask for almost for free. She has become a very good friend and we get together every now and then to make jewelry. God is good ❤️

I can’t THANK YOU enough. I’ve stopped for a couple of years…..well, maybe only 1 1/2 yrs. (Arthritis in all joints……hands) this makes me want to start up again. There is one project I want to try. Before I stopped I was doing Tree of life necklaces. I did several, my daughter (who finally married at 40 yrs ) gave to her bride maids. The older flower girl….10-11 yrs old….I made several very cute rings, they were perfect, omg, she was so excited. (Made me fell good) I am not confident, so very insecure so I need to tell you how thankful I am of you. I didn’t give my daughter anything for her Wedding (health reasons) but know what I want to do for her. She really liked the Tree of Life so I thought I’d do a large Tree of Life for her and her husband. Really big. Maybe a foot or larger (???) when I do, I’ll be contacting you for security…..that is if I have any questions. I heard you mention someone sent you photos?? Did they send them by Email? I’d like to send you some photos so you might get an idea of how inexperienced I am. Please let me know. I’m 76 yrs old and love doing this. I made so many Shungite necklaces, about 70. Just gave them away. Anyway, please let me know if I can send a few photos…..I can’t wait to try this herringbone. I need to go back and watch the other videos. Thanks again. Katherine Knapp. (I live in Medford Oregon.

Yvonne! I am sure glad to hit on this video. I searched for "wrapping wire Yvonne Williams". And I hit on a Masterclass. I used to follow you as an avid fan due to my interest in chainmaille which I got from you because you came you in a search for making your own jump rings. I bought everything you suggested and more. Then I just couldn't do the basic patterns as persistent as I was. Then my daughter moved back home and all my wire, saw, pliers and other tools disappeared as my child literally moved her apartment into our apartment. She couldn't find a job in her field in Philly so she moved back to NYC😐😑🤨. But thank God after the vaxxes came out and taken, she went back to Philly, but damage done. But I found one plier, my saw and a package of a yd of sterling silver. So, now, I have the basic tool....they cheap....but will do the trick. I went to do this herringbone and just couldn't get it right. I figured out that it was because I was left handed. So, now my job was to see the concept and technique and reverse it. I had somewhat of success. But gonna keep on trying. I am blessed to have connected again with you. You are one of the very best teachers on KZbin.🥰🥰🥰

I watched you for the first time when you did the Eye of Sauron dragon eye and was amazed at the thought that I might be able to do something like that, however, health issues and life got in the way of achieving this. I am now retired and on disability, so all I do is sit around staring at the walls, then, as I was flipping through KZbin, I came across another one of your videos, this one. I've decided that I really need a hobby and I believe I can do this. I'll keep you posted as to any progress I might make, if any, only time will tell. I was wondering about that pendant with the three blue beads, what if you put the loops on both ends, turned them to lay flat, curve them down slightly and make a barrette out of it, just curious, not trying to change your design or anything, it was just a thought. Thank you though for inspiring me to get off my butt and at least try something. 😊

As you talked about snarky people, I was reminded of a transformative moment in my life. I have different hobbies, jewelry making, sewing, knitting, throwing clay, large-scale stained glass, etc.. People were always nagging me about what I was going to do with all the things I made. I don't sell, but I have made commissioned items. The nagging made me feel bad about making things that did not have a destination. One day, I was at an arts and craft fair. I happened to walk thru a booth that had molded/casted glass scultures. It was unusual, and none of it matched my home. However, I was deeply moved by the amount of talent, skill, effort and time that I imagined went into making each unique piece. They were cast in sand molds. In that moment, I turned to my friend, one of the people who always nagged me, and said, "I just want to make art. I don't care what I do with it. I just want to create i dont care what happens to it when im done." Most often i give away what i make. After that moment, I never again worried about what I would do with anything I was working o😅n. I was free to allow my creativity to flow. I Thank you and congratulate you for encouraging people not to let others diminish their creativity. You shine brightly in many many ways.

This was great to watch even though I'm familiar with herringbone (I'm always down to learn how others do things)! Very informative and inspirational. I liked seeing how you did the rings - months ago I tried to find a tutorial for a herringbone ring but to no avail, so I just trial-and-errored it using non-herringbone wirewrapped ring techniques till I figured out a way to make one that worked (I had an aha moment watching a tutorial for an offset drilled round bead ring). That last piece with the herringbone-inception was AMAZING! Thanks for taking the time to make these tutorials!

I’ve been doing beaded and polymer jewelry for a little while now with a small shop and some local shows. But I’m new at wire and I have to say I LOVE these master classes. I can only imagine the work that goes into these videos. Even tho they are long I find the longer videos the most helpful. I want to really understand what I’m trying to do not just get a quick tutorial on how to copy someone else’s work. Huge thanks to you for your effort and obvious love you put into these videos and your craft.

1:44:30 "Well, if we're going to be broke, if we're going to be poor...let's be broke for ourselves instead of being broke for somebody else..." My first art or craft has been writing and while you and this video has inspired me to make jewelry it first inspired me to write and I will spare it in the comments but if I ever publish on Substack this piece inspired by you and this quote above will let you know. We need more people in the world like you. We get these little nuggets of wisdom in many of your videos. Nothing too heavy or preached from a soap box, but just enough and simply put but with pretty profound meaning if you ask me. Crafting is also a great time for thinking
