It’s almost like reinventing the wheel because you’ve done something incredible by coming up with such a beautiful shapely way to capture the Stone

I usually don't like the way this shape of stone gets wrapped but I love the way you wrapped this one, your technique is amazing. And I think squidge is the perfect word for what you were doing lol

Kelly, I just love your tutorials and have made so many things. What do you use for necklace chains? I am having so much trouble finding something I like that looks good with the patina color other than brown braided leather. I'd like to have more options. I've made chains too, but it's very time consuming!

I know what you mean. I use a 2mm polyester, I tie it in an adjustable knot. I did a video for it. I'll find a link...

love your work I have a question how to calculate your frame wires with the bead or stone?
@KellyJJewellery11 ай бұрын
I try and guess it against the stone then alter it in the measurements if it's different 😊 thank you!

Would it be possible to make a video on, How to fix and adjust errors? I have several pieces that I get near finishing, and I MUCK them UP! I get frustrated, start a new piece! I don't know if I need help or THERAPY!!!! Can you help?
@KellyJJewellery Жыл бұрын
I make and scrap so many pieces, some mistakes can't be reminded but simple ones, like the weaving wire breaking or correcting a longer wire to finish shorter are fixable. What kind of things do you often run into?

I seem to have a heavy hand and I miss shape wires, then have trouble getting them to back their original place.

And me 👍 that takes time and practice, it gets easier but I still do that too sometimes

What wire do you use? I can't find dead soft and half round wire. I'm pretty new to this so not sure about UK stockists
@KellyJJewellery Жыл бұрын
It's just called soft in the UK, try metalclays4you on Etsy. I buy my square and half round from America, Rio Grande wire website. Hope that helps ❤️
@Yobidefy Жыл бұрын
what kind of thin wire is that
@KellyJJewellery Жыл бұрын
I use dead soft copper, mostly 20awg and 28awg (0.8mm and 0.315mm).
