Your techniques have changed my whole view on wire wrapping. I'm 15 years old and been doing it for 3 years but discovering you made me level up! Thank you!

Beautiful ring awesome work with the wire, your so talented and incredibly creative, your designs are wonderful and eye catching, your techniques are different interesting, and challenging, in this video I loved how you combined your use of half round wire with the flat square wire to create this ring frame structure, this really demonstrated your knowledge and experience of using these types of wires, I'm very interested in learning more about different ways you can use flat square wire and any types of square wire, as I dont yet have any experience of using square wires, but square wire can be beautiful, I would love to see more different types of tutorials using square jewelry wires. I've been doing wire jewelry for two years now I love it, I'm not at your level yet, I'm in the middle some where, not quite a beginner, I love wire styling like wire wrapping techniques, creating fancy swirls and edging wire lace techniques, I currently do very little wire weaving or wire cabachon settings, but I would like to learn more, of these techniques your channel is amazing, and you create stunning pieces of wire art, jewelry beautiful to see. Thank you for your video contributions, these are very important and valuable resources. Your subscriber Laura in uk

I have been into other forms of sliver jewelry making for some time now. My question is, getting into wire wrapping what are a few good wire shapes/sizes to stock up on? My next order I would like to get wire for a few rings and try my hand at a pendent. Thank you for you videos! Truly an artist!

I assume you're using sterling instead of stainless wire, and you're incredibly good at detailing the shape. I was wondering, however, what hardness you use for different coils/swirls. The place I order my supplies from has dead soft, soft, half-hard, and hard in their silver. What would be best to use/what combinations? I'm sure dead soft has no real place in this, but what of the other hardnesses?
@PothocketsFPV4 жыл бұрын
Most wire used in wirewrapping is deadsoft.
@lauraaqui2194 жыл бұрын
Hardness used for this type of technique is generally 20 guage in American its 0.80mm in English wire this is a general working wire for rings and earrings and bracelets it has a lot of flexibility and is softer but can be used to build a firm wire frame structure which will hold well, it would be very suitable for this type of ring, structure the next one up from this is a much harder thicker wire 19 guage, American, in english 0.90mm. Try googling the website address to order jewelry wires from the, www.scientific wire.co.uk or .com they also sell real silver wires and carry all hardness and thicknesses their wires are excellent quality they also make many coloured jewelry wires to suit all tastes and all types of projects they sell aluminium jewelry wires they have a good range of choices, and their delivery systems are fast postage and your wire items come very well packaged, I've made orders from them of £300, pound and I've always been very happy with their wires, terrific quality, good website good photographic images of the wires for sale, as a customer I recommend them. Best of luck to you.

Is there a good way to change out the gemstone to a faceted one, rather than a flat backed gem?

It would take a little thought and perhaps a different approach when closing the shank together, but I’m sure it is possible!
