Loved and subscribed...I'm guessing you have a target size in mind before you start; meaning, at the very start of securing the base wires, you have determined the length of shank wrap vs the width of stone ??? Love this tutorial for such an easy to learn design 😎👍

I do not have anything but round wire in several gauges right now., Yours look wonderful and I would love to do something to build skills wondering whether round wires would work?
@mikeymercure4 жыл бұрын
Round wires work but tend to slip when being secured to the shank of the ring. I find that weaving the shank with round wires helps to keep from slipping...

Nice video! I liked your calm voice as you were working. Perhaps, in the future, you can add text during your video of the lengths and diameters used. There was one guy I saw who had his materials list and major steps written out in THREE languages! Perhaps you can expand your audience by adding text information. Keep up the great work. Leah Ann Handmade does some text on her screens as she works

You sure know how to fry my brain! 🤯🤯🤯 How many is the MOST wires you've ever done? (successfully?)
@traceeseventyone90404 жыл бұрын
Hmmm 🤔, my square wire never lays flat and even like that. It's always twisted. So even if it's all straight, some pieces are twisted. Maybe it's the brand/quality of my wire? It's frustrating.

Hello friend! I discovered your channel quite a few months ago. Your inspiration and work are amazing. I would actually like to follow one of your tutorials and create something with your virtual help. My problem is I can't find anywhere the square wire you use. Do you buy them online? I've searched all over the internet and can't find it anywhere...

I’m just wondering, how long does it normally take for you to finish a ring like this? I know it takes practice but I do struggle a lot with getting to a certain point and having one mistake that kinda the whole design, after it has taken me forever getting there, I know it’s something we all have to deal with initially but I guess I just need some motivation to not give up lol 😭
@RaftarkJewelry2 жыл бұрын
Don’t give up, you’ve got this! I’ve gotten pretty quick with rings and can usually get one finished in about 10-15 minutes depending on the stone and size. I’ve made a lot of them over the years, but I definitely had some catastrophes along the way as well. It’s all part of the learning process!
