I really appreciate how you don't just say what you're doing, but also why/ what the weave is supposed to be accomplishing. That helps me so much! Thanks for sharing this!

I love watching you create these beautiful pieces. You don't see the craftsmanship in mass produced jewelry.

Your voice is so pleasant to listen to. Your explanations are precise with no nonsense comments. I am graduating from chainmaille to wrapping and I'm so happy I found your channel. Your work is definately an inspiration.

Nolan- I always enjoy your tutorials, whether I’m watching here or on Patreon. You always give us precise, in depth teachings, be they about basics or more advanced techniques. As a left handed person, you actually help me by stating left, right, center, etc. when talking about wire placement or wrapping, enabling me to do the exact opposite without confusion. Many teachers, and a lot of tutorials neglect to do this, which can be very confusing when you’re attempting to ‘work backwards’. Thanks for all your hard work making these tuts workable for everyone!

Nolan, I just wanted to let you know that after watching the weave setting on your Facebook tutorials and KZbin tutorials the process was still a mystery to me, but this slow demonstration tutorial of this process finally clicked. I just wanted to thank you for decreasing your speed at which you did this weave while explaining each step. It finally made the weave comprehensible and it was a cognizance moment. I look forward to trying to make the pendant. I have told you before, but I think you are a wonderful educator of this art form.

I too am left handed and find a lot of tutorials confusing. I do attempt to wrap left handed but end up wrapping right handed. Thank you for the details you provide in your tutorials. Your creations are beautiful ! Now if us “ lefties “ could just find tutorials done by a lefty.... 🤔

Beautiful & inspiring. I think zooming in (if possible with your current camera set-up) a bit closer would allow for better appreciation/understanding of the instructions.

What should I do if I want to use this type of setting with rectangular cut stones rather than round? Should I just add more figure 8 weaves between me bring the half round down to create the bow? Or is there a more specific way to do so. (I have a ton of rectangular cut garnet I’m trying to use and not just let sit)

Anyone else feel cheated, being shown an image of a very elaborate pendant and getting to see a bodge job strip with 3 grains of sand

Not at all. It clearly says it's a setting not a start to finish piece.
