OMG - Not only does this artist have the most pleasing voice I have ever heard, he also has an incredible (or should I say phenomenal eye for beauty and balance). I probably watched this 10 times because it captivated me and the whole entire time I kept thinking about this one stone that I have that I really, Really, Really, REALLY want him to work with. I have had this stone over 40 years. If you see this please contact me Please sir Please...You are beyond AMAZING.

The youtube algorithm is my best friend. These last few weeks I’ve watched several people build hyper realistic dioramas, fallen in love with dart frogs, just watched a dude build miniature doll houses FOR a miniature doll house and now learning to weave in a material I’m probably allergic too. KZbin I love you. Insomnia- don’t love you.

You should get an amazon affiliate for some of this material, i'm sure it would provide some more support.
@RaftarkJewelry4 жыл бұрын
I was actually contacted by a rep for the amazon affiliate program but decided to turn it down for now. Since I don’t use amazon for any of my tools or materials I thought it would be dishonest of me to direct folks there just to make a few extra bucks. I use riogrande.com for most of my metals and tools

I’m sooo excited to have found your channel! I really like your technique and how you hold the wire on the piece with one hand and you twirl the piece so that the wire wraps around it...if that makes sense. lol Seems like that saves time and energy, and I will definitely definitely try out that technique. This is a stunning design. However it raises some questions for me: There are several spots with material of different thickness underneath the beautyful setting. Are there any issues with an uncomfortable fit to the wearers finger? Maybe you can avoid that with sodering the setting seperately on the ring?
@joleenphillips24154 жыл бұрын
If the ends of the wire are tucked into the setting properly, then you won't even feel the edges. They won't catch on anything either. This is a very elegant and well-made design- something that takes lots of practice to acheive. I'm still learning when it comes to wire wrapping.

Ok so I have been thinking about your work since I have seen it. Just love it. My biggest problem is I’m not creative. I don’t have the ability to think outside the box. Not yet at least. 😀😀😀 practice practice practice. I’m in the newborn stages of wire wrapping. I was wondering if you can tell me where you got the stone. I’m looking up stone that are 8x11 mm and they are talking so many different things I’m so confused. Maybe put down under the description where you get your supplies? I feel bad asking. Your such a calm thoughtful teacher:)

I wonder what metal you are working with? Assuming it is sterling silver? I used copper 22 gauge half round and it was a nightmare! Tangled up like silk thread so easily. I love that dimension but it came coiled not spooled and all wasted now. Any way to detangle half round 22 G wire? Such a waste. This is a sumptuous ring, wow! Such a rich bezel frame. Superb. Thank you for sharing your skills with wire. What an artist!
