I'm 13 years old and Adam Savage is my inspirating for my life. He is literally my hero. Everything he does is something I want to do when I grow up. I still make things in my room and I watch his videos on tested but that doesnt fullfill my longing to do the things he does.
@NochSoEinKaddiFan7 жыл бұрын
He is an inspiration to me too, though there is one thing we have to keep in mind: when he was 13, he didn't do what he does now. Moreso he did what you were doing when you wrote this comment... I am currently 23 and for the longest time, I would have sold the world for the ability to skip the learning process. But this process enables you to find out what you want, how you want to do it and ultimately, who you want to be. Then you can set out and work towards who you want to be. This will never stop, this is how life works; the more you know, the more there is for you to know because you can now ask different questions and open new worlds. Don't try to copy him. We need an Adam Savage in this world, but we need you in this world too, the way you truly are :D Now I will go out there and make something, I hope you do too. Enjoy yourself and stick to what you want to do; trust me, you'll come back to it later anyways, so just get on it! :D :D

I appreciate that even a smart, deliberate person like Adam Savage has a brain which wants to combine "an other" and "whole" into "a whole 'nother." I imagine most of us do that without realizing. (Prolepses & obviation: I understand "an other" is usually written as one word.)

07:28 Fortunately, I've never made art that would be stored in a school, but I've never understood how principals can be so ignorant about that. My school's old principal did the same exact thing. Why can't they at least sell the art, and then throw away what people don't care about? At least then the money could be used for the art program.

If there is nothing on the display behind Adam please do not cut to that shot. Also the over the audience wide shot is unnecessary if it is one man standing on the stage not moving around very much. I know that you went to the MTV school of cutting to different shots in quick unnecessary and a annoying manner. But you can move beyond that. Just keep a camera on Adam. Maybe do a cut every other minute or longer. I have a attention span that can go longer than five minutes without a screen jump. Thank you.

Adam the Savage. What is a "savage"? The dictionary defines it as, *sav·age* ˈ/savij/ (of an animal or force of nature) fierce, violent, and uncontrolled. (chiefly in historical or literary contexts) a member of a people regarded as primitive and uncivilized. "(especially of a dog or wild animal) attack ferociously and maul." Those don't sound like Adam or do they? "Fierce, violent, and uncontrolled?" Sure it does, he explodes everything they can touch on 'Mythbusters'. While they do control the safety during one, the explosions themselves are not controlled. Neither is Adam's excitement or joy controlled, while witnessing and participating in these amazing events. "A member of a people regarded as primitive and uncivilized", can't be him...can it? He's part of the crew! If there is a group that is seen as grunts on a movie production, it's the builders. The people who "can't read but swing a hammer". Adam has always been crew and will wear the moniker proudly. Even if it does earn him the reputation of "uncivilized"! "Attack ferociously and maul?" Adam would never, he's a pacifistic almost. Except when it comes to a project and his loved ones. He attacks everything with vigor and without restraint. He is ferocious in his acquisition of skills and understanding. He would maul the world to protect his friends and family. So, I have to declare with all the admiration and respect I have in me, that A. Savage, is indeed a savage.
