I hunt a GREAT all-season creek with thick Buck bedding cover and moderately steep terrain on one side, with some soft and hard mast trees on the opposite side lining the creek, and a semi open field between the creek and a Doe bedding area located on a south facing hillside. The Buck bedding area is behind a medium sized housing area, while the Doe bedding area is located somewhat close to a busy road. The entire creek-line is an awesome funnel leading from an apartment complex to the West to some deep woods and a private golf course to the East, about a two-mile stretch. The deer (bucks, does and fawns), are able to cross under the busy road to access the golf course and its brouse and other mast trees on the course. I put my stand on the creek-line about 80-100 yards from the creek passing under the road, that way I'm able to hunt the bucks on either side of the creek, and the does coming off the hillside, while they're heading to the golf course. Found this place when I went to visit a friend of mine that lived in the apartment complex. I asked him if he had ever walked the creek to see what was back there, and he said he had a few times and had always jumped a few deer and cayotes as well.
