Hahaha...yea I guess it could be worse...lol...it's weird with these things, most people have good luck with them but I do see some here and there from talking to people that are just glitchy

Hey Veronica!….yes, that will ensure you get a proper connection with module…so basically you want to disconnect all Bluetooth and WiFi connections (Disconnect from WiFi to your house, turn off Apple Watch, etc)….but make sure WiFi and Bluetooth are still “on” in your phone settings….hope that makes sense!

Do you have to plug into your 4Runner for your CarPlay?…if so this would work, it makes your CarPlay wireless so you no longer need to use cord to have access to it…hope that helps!

Thanks for the great video, I just installed this in our 2021 Highlander Hybrid Platinum and so far I love it. I am curious if you ever found a good spot to hide the wiring. Also, do I have to go through this initial set up with my wife’s phone for it to work too? I’m guessing I will since basically the phone is connecting to this dongle rather than the car. I’m sure you already know this, so figured I’d ask. Thanks again!

Not on the screen but you can play it on your phone and the sound would come through your speakers… There is another module you can add where you can actually play KZbin videos/Netflix/etc. directly on your screen… I’m going to be adding that to my 2022 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro that I just picked up but it will also work on the Highlander… Stay tuned for that video!
