my screen is blank. i know i connected everything right. my only concern was the directions having me smash the LVDS cable coming out of the screen, the cage that holds the screen. Any help would be appreciated. I just have a white screen but sounds like everything else is working, just cant see what it is doing

Hey where have you hidden that carplay module? I've seen on video that it was just hanging on passenger side and I don't like it :-D

I’ve just bought the system from Ali Express for a 2013 Volvo S60 and installed it but there seems to be no audio when using CarPlay. Any ideas?

hi, indication of temperature and other is original function of the car. carplay is another independent system, it will not show indication of temperature, thank you

Thx for the video! Is it working with Sensus Connetced Touch system too? What happens if i install this unit on an SCT head unit? Will touch screen work or i'll loose it and only steering wheel buttons will be usable?

Hi, yes it working with SCT system, use another module but get easier installation. you can find video for 2015-2019 volvo. the touch screen works only in original system. if you want to touchscreen in carplay menu you can install extra touch screen . However you can only install one touch screen in the car, it means you can select touch screen for original system or for carplay menu. thanks

hi, temperature controls is the function of original system, it do not appear on the carplay/android auto interface. but you can press the button on steering wheel to switch the system and check the temperature. thank you

The linked Aliexpress site has an error I think - it states (under checks for compatibility) ‘Mute button on steering wheel is Volvo before 2014 model’. - I have a 2012 Volvo XC60 that has Speaker button not mute button. Can you advise : confirm this will work in my car configuration please?

My 2014 v40 doesn't produce any audio when connected to Android Auto, whether it's using USB or Bluetooth. How can I fix this? (I don't have AUX Interface)

I have the same issue, the aux interface is in the centre console I think, how do we resole this issue?

@@magsmarinellicraze I found out that USB port in the center console is broken, hence no audio even with the USB sound card that they've provided. I still haven't been able to resolve the issue unfortunately
