You have explained the benefits and efficiency of wireless electricity but what about the reverse effect on human health and around our surrounding? Do these rays will not affect our health, vegetation, animal health or overall the environment?? It will be harmful to everyone. Unless or until we don't know their reverse effect we can't say this is useful. You must explain and point out these things as well.

1:. Flying cars will never be common because every action has a reaction. Lifting forces will create a mess on the roads for other vehicles. 2:.wireless transmission of energy has biggest drawbacks. One of them is ionizing, super charging, air particles, resulting in severe climate changes or even radiation sickness. Usage on large scale will cause interruption in other signal transmissions which will affect phone calls to airplane transmission, everything. 3:.Wireless transmissions have 70% efficiency as you said. No technology can be more efficient than a copper wire in aspect of energy transmission. Yes our transmitters (transformers) are less efficient but we can get more efficiency by replacing big transformers by big switching boost/buck converters, which we are already using in electronics every where now a days, with efficiency of more than 90%. 4:......and the list goes on....

I don't think using microwave band is a feasible option for transmitting power remotely because of the inherent problems with microwaves. They can be used with LoS transmission. But if there is a discontinuity in the LoS path, it won't be transmittable. This would be problem both with Urban Scenario where you could have placed stations densely but the density of buildings itself would cause issues. In rural setup where the population density is low, you will need to place one station for a large area. This would be problematic in that there could be a large scale hindrances created by forests or trees etc.
