Nice and informative. I first used TVS mechanical keyboard in 1998 which came in Beige color ony. That was very rock solid with perfect molding and no squeaks and gaps. It worked for 11 years. Then I changed to the same model again but this time black color with a PS/2 connector. After 3 years I changed it again to get the same version but with a USB connector in 2018. But the quality was a lot different. Plastic fit and finish reduced, the switches were chinese now (which are super worst compared to cherry blue switches), The letters started to fade after just 3 years, lot of gaps where you can see the circuit board inside, the USB connector moulding is a kind of cheap plastic moulding. All these they have done to cut down costs. Within a year or two you will notice two main problems with this keyboard. The letters start to fade on the key caps. Space bar and Enter key will start to recede downwards from a corner. They will not fail but upon looking you will instantly notice that they are not in perfect height with the surrounding keys and appear as slightly bent inwards. It is now surviving only on brand name and it's loyal buyers.

This is a decent keyboard for office use but if you are looking for quick response time, this is not the product for you, I can feel a noticeable lag on the input of this device, and the battery panel on the keyboard needs to be pushed in when the keyboard stops responding. I am happy with the tactile feedback on the keys and the mouse sensor also feels pretty decent for its price. I would not recommend it for gaming.

Very Nice video. it covers all stuff accurately! I bought it yesterday and seeing video now. Extremely annoying to see the battery compartment...it's so pathetic in design as you told, my batteries were not fitting only. somehow I pressed it and fixed it's lid. I was using Logitech and it's mouse has infrared light (can't see red light and it's been more than a year i never changed the batteries), but this TVS uses still old tech which consumes power like hell. As we don't have option in mechanical and TVS is reputed brand I took it, but when comparing it with other brands I feel these Indian brands are way way behind. I am not critisizing the keyboard, it's good but if you compare it then you will feel its so old tech. as you told, they have not even changed the die in 30 years! seeing the wire slot was a with lol. That's why Indian companies are not able to take their products global! No one will accept it international. Yes i feel the price is a factor but 1 who is putting in 3k won't mind putting 4k for a proper finished product. anyways if TVS is reading this then please improve on these points. We are buying you cos we don't have option, have you seen any1 buying membrane keyboards of TVS?
@Live_Loud2 жыл бұрын
True. You understood every bit of my explanation. I appreciate your comment. Hope TVS will take note of it.

@@Live_Loud Yes and I highly appreciated the details in your video. I though there are very less videos so let me try with my first video 😂. But when I saw your video I felt you have done justice to this video and shown every little detail so I felt it makes no sense just making video for the sake of it by repeating stuff. Very good work. Keep it up. Points for improvement in your video. Can improve on lighting and audio loudness. Also it's so typical of them not to include on off switch for keyboard. They have not explained usage of extra buttons on mouse...i am still figuring what to do with them. No guide no manual lol! No info on their website also! And no online product registration, they have given a post card and we are suppose to post them that to get warranty..... I was like we are staying in which age and that too for a company making computer products!

@Live_Loud2 жыл бұрын
If you want mechanical then there is no other option for wireless. If you are gamer then you will get some lag due to latency. But for normal day to day activities there won't be any noticeable lag. Regarding Logitech only plus point is you'll get wrist rest. But in logitech there are better options which have 3 device connectivity without dongle that will be best.
