Wireless-n WiFi Repeater / WiFi Extender - No Name WiFi Repeater router, setup & review - Easy

This video shows a no name brand Wireless-N WiFi repeater WiFi Range Extender setup and review. Now keep in mind this WiFi repeater/WiFi Extender has no brand name associated with it, hence, no name brand wifi repeater. I purchased this off of eBay for less then $15.00 bucks. Most likely made over in China or Taiwan. You can watch how I did the WiFi repeater setup and how to do the WiFi Extender installation into the house electric wall outlet.
Learn how to setup a WiFi extender in your house to get more WiFi signal strength and range out of your primary WiFi router. It does not take long to see how to setup Wireless-n WiFi repeater plus get a wireless amplifier extender (wifi repeater) to extend existing WiFi signal beyond your wireless router another 25 feet or more.
I take you through the whole process of opening up the packaging, installing it into a wall outlet and going though the setup process within Windows 10 and making a Netgear WiFi router connection on my home LAN.
This is a plain and simple wireless n repeater installation guide video tutorial for an easy extender/repeater setup. And this just could be the best wifi repeater or wifi extender for your money presently being sold today.
BTW: When it comes to WiFi repeater and/or WiFi extender just follow this rule of thumb: Extender location is the primary key to getting the best signal quality and most distance out of any extender. You might experience interference problems, for example: thick walls or floors, other electronic equipment or extender might be to far away from router...etc. Test until you find the best sweet spot somewhere mid way between your Primary Router and your Wifi device connecting to the extender. This will give you the best consistently solid signal quality from the extender.

I have a question.....I plugged the repeater into the wall outlet and I get a red light at the very top and a blinking green light for WiFi. the video shows a green solid light for the LAN.

You must change the ipv4 from your pc connection to 192.168.10.111 and the third option (i don't remember the name) to 192.168.10.1

Your MacBook Pro supports 802.11 a/b/n and should be able to connect to the Extender without having to reset it. However, you might need to change SSID on your Mac. You can do this by clicking on the wifi icon in the menu bar > then click on Open Network Preferences.

Have you tried this? Power off your primary WiFi router/modem for 10 minutes and your computer/laptop too, then power your WiFi router and computer/laptop back on and wait a few minutes and try connecting with your computer/laptop.

Go to Start menu > right click Start menu > Go to the "Run" command line > type: cmd and press enter > in DOS window type: ipconfig > Your Default Gateway IP address is your IP address to be used in your browser to access your router.

Once a extender setup has been completed, that old temporary setup IP network is deleted. This is why you can not get back into the setup. In order to get back into setup again will need to perform a repeater reset by using the RESET button (press and hold for a REAL 12-14 seconds) while it's plugged into a wall outlet and power is on, then release the RESET button and go through the setup steps again as shown in my video. Also try moving the Extender closer to where your router is located while setting it up, then you can move it if you need to.

Hi Nick, I have this same Wifi repeater and I have run into issues with my setup. The process seemed fine but I gave my amplified signal a name/SSID unrelated to the original network and I was never able to establish an internet connection. I am now trying to reset my repeater to its default settings by holding the reset button but the reset fails to work every time. The new network I have created remains among my network options and I can no longer access the 192.168.10.1 setup page. Do you think my repeater's reset button just does not work? Your Reset Button could be broken and not working, but give this a try: Using the RESET button press and hold for a "REAL" 12-15 seconds while it's plugged into a wall outlet and power is on, then release the RESET button and go through the setup steps again as shown in my video. That would be your WiFi password.
