Beautiful work. Are you finding that 2x plates is more cost effective than one larger one for bringing the pressure loss down? Any downsides to running two in parallel?

I have no way of measuring the result so I'm not sure. I think in future I will buy bespoke unless a low load system. Just finished a job with very low load and used a single standard plate.

If you had used close coupled tees or primary secondary arrangement would you have a common flow sensor? Or is it only if you use a plate hex or llh? Thanks
@andrewmillwardwatford94103 жыл бұрын
Yes the common flow sensor or secondary flow sensor allows the boiler to control the mixed water temperature so it can accurately follow the weather compensation curve.

@@andrewmillwardwatford9410 so just to confirm I would need the 2 flow sensors for the mixed circuits and then another flow sensor for the primary loop?
@andrewmillwardwatford94103 жыл бұрын
@@jimmyryan1988 the mixed circuit pipe sensors come with the mixer driver units. You only order a low loss header sensor or a pipe sensor for the common flow.

@@andrewmillwardwatford9410 so for my setup at my house I plan on having to mixed circuits one for upstairs and one for downstairs both ufh. I have the 2 drivers for esbe valves with the common flow sensor for each mixed circuit. I plan on setting it up similar to the 222 you showed a video of not to long ago (primary secondary). So will the primary loop on this kind of setup require the additional flow temperature sensor?

@@jimmyryan1988 very cool question. I'm not sure. I will ask technical. I'm not sure why if you only have mixed circuits either ? My new quest is to find you an answer and learn from it myself.
