Wiring & Shifter Install For A 8HP70 in a Jeep JK Part 1

How to wire and install a shifter for the 8HP70 8 speed transmission in a 2007-2010 Jeep Wrangler. There will be multiple parts to this video. Wiring can be difficult, so I hope this helps some.

Your VLOG is very impressive and helpful! Am thinking of doing a trans swap to my 2009 JK as well. Could You please tell who is the manufacturer of this computer/tcu and harness You are using for Your modification?

The TCM is made by a company out in Germany. I recommend buying it from Todd at Jeep Speed Shop so that way it is programmed correctly. Also when you get the TCM from him he will include the wiring harness as well

@@helmutroidl8568 power control solutions is the name of the company that makes the TCM and I think the harness too. The computer in the the transmission will need to be flashed so it will allow tap shift to work or you can get a challenger valve body so it will work.

Could you please share more details about needed parts ...like which Transmission would work ? WIll it fit a 3.6 Pentastar?
