Wiring up two fuel pumps, the Evil Energy 255 and the Bosch 044, both controlled by the LS PCM.

*** On the schematic I forgot to add in the fuses, each wire from pin 87 on the relay goes through a 50a fuse before connecting to the positive side of each fuel pump. Relays on this box are rated at 80a and all wires on the pin 30 feeds and pin 87 outputs are 10g. If you make your own setup I would not use less than 40a relays and 30a fuses ***

In your previous video on LS1 mods needed to run that harness, the relays are 40amps! What is the reason for the 80amp relays now on the fuel pumps. Thought the 1 relay in the fuse block was for fuel Pump and 1 for ignition?? Thank you!

Yes the Ebay wiring harness has a fuel pump relay, but because I am running two pumps I elected not to use it and instead put two fuel pump relays in the trunk. The Ebay ignition relay is still on the Ebay harness and in use. I did not want one fuel pump relay under the dash and one in the trunk, so the Ebay fuel pump relay is not wired up. If I was only running the one in tank pump then I would of used the relay on the Ebay wiring harness and wired it as I did in my 1951 Hudson build videos. As I said in this video I removed the green 12v fuel pump control wire that was connected to pin 86 on the Ebay relay and ran it to the back of the car to pin 86 on both relays in the trunk. 40 amp relays would work fine, but the box came with 80s which just means the relays can handle more current than needed. Each relay has its own 50 amp fuse to protect each pump circuit.

@@rust_hoarder_garage Thanks so much for explaining it. Wiring,Fuses and Relays are something I have had very little experience with. I only replaced or fixed an issue. I have put a 5.3 into a 95 mustang and it has been such a Huge learning curve! Thanks again!

What gauge wire are the 2 red wires that go to the starter?

No wires to the starter here, but anything pulling power from the battery will get 10g wires.

From the Ebay harness is what I meant to say, Sorry! 2 red ringed wires. As you suggested to put a Fusable link between the harness and the Starter hookup. I need to purchase the Fusable link and all the online info says to go 2 sizes up from the wire size of the wire. It looks like 14 gauge wire???
