Yeah, they have been doing that since a couple of years after Gard took over. The media has zero credibility when it comes to predicting Wisconsin basketball.

@@why-even-try-brotendo Badgers thrive off of lower expectations. However, they also tend to disappoint under high ones. Look at the COVID year (2020-21) and the football team on numerous occasions. Football team also tends to surprise under lower expectations too.

@@johngittings281 This is true, mostly it's because they don't get the talent that a lot of the Big 10 teams can get. They are very good at getting the most out of them though.
