Might want to pick a better stand location, if your neighbor is driving on his own property

That’s exactly what I was thinking. You will have that if you are sitting right on the boundary line!

That happens when hunting near property lines. Had that happen to me for years

You have great patience, as per the video! However looks like your neighbor on his own property didn't really ruin anything! you should us a lot of deer, just not any that you wanted to harvest that day. Good Hunting, glad to see you out there enjoying the outdoors!!

Old school clear cut hunting! Love it! Quite the impressive deer herd! I hunt down in Sheboygan county! This past summer and early fall we had a substantial doe and fawn population! Unfortunately due to the amount of hunting pressure we lost over half herd due to road kill car kills unfortunately lots of public land pressure this year way more than years past! I wish some of the older hunters had your patience to not just shoot everything that moves! Whoever taught you BrAVO

Yet he goes and drives public for like 7 days and shoots deer like 5-10. That's like shooting everything that moves. And younger hunters also do not have patience.

@99skyraptor, The reason we go onto public is meat hunting for our families, we like a challenge on public, and we and most of our neighbors save these properties for trophies.

Use your neighbors laziness to your advantage.

Neighbor ruined your hunt??? Yet you saw plenty of deer and besides he is on his own property. Hunt near the lines that is what you get. Stop being a whiner!

@@99skyraptor I get what you mean, I was a little upset because I did have a shooter buck coming in until one of their other group members saw him, or coincidence they came driving on the trail they never usually drive on. Yes I did see plenty of deer just this buck was coming into my area before they came through. No worries he will be bigger next year!

Hate to say it but the neighbors can do whatever they want when they want and be as loud as they want in there property. Think about the guy's you piss off on the public land when you start deer drives opening weekend

Exactly, I agree 100%. Think of all the public land Hunters who aren't fortunate enough to own private land, that this kid will end up ruining their hunt.

Agreed! I hunt 100% various Wisconsin public lands and it never ceases to amaze me, no matter where I go it’s usually by the second day of the nine day gun season there will be groups of people doing drives. I’ve actually been 20 feet up in my climbing stand and had guys walk in and position themselves 35 yards away from me, on the ground knowing I’m right there and wait for their buddies to start driving deer.

I totally agree with you guys, but we never just walk in on other parties hunts, if we like an area and there is people hunting there we don't go plowing through we just sit in parking lot most of the time. 3 yrs ago we were all public until my house got hit by tornado, then we were fortunate enough to buy a nice house with good land that I'm very grateful for. We still like to hunt the public for meat because our group members have grown up out there.

Yes public land can be brutal at times but if you set up early before light on good runway some pressure can be highly helpful! If you’re on a big buck 90% of the time most of the locals know about these giants well in advance! I’m lucky enough to have lots of time to scout all summer and fall! I’m in my 50s now but I’ll walk the extra mile even down rivers to find those hidden Jen’s that average bucket hunters won’t go back into! You’d be surprised how many big bucks over the years I’ve taken from taking extra steps to hang stand in small thick bedding areas
