As a Central Wisconsin "Native," I always enjoyed Walleye fishing on the Willow Flowage (UP NORTH). Now, out here in the Wake Forest, North Carolina area, I have taken up Bass fishing. I do all mine catch and release. Sure would be nice to have a "shore lunch" of Walleye filets. Will watch when I can and reminisce of my Wisconsin fishing days. Thanks for a quality product.

Great Show! I love the Palomar knot. What can we do with the Uni knot? I'm hesitant to use it. In my case I'm trying to tie 2 lines together. 80lb suffix comes on 100yd spools. Sure would be nice to tie 2 together for 200yd. I fish the Fox for Flatheads. Thanks Larry.

Great video Lightning Larry. Curious about your opinion on the walleyes that are out in the open. Being opportunistic and typically tucking just outside the main current, behind a wingdam or in a depression to ambush prey. Do you believe the fish in the flat/ open bottom are actively searching for a meal? Or simply in the current and out in the open? I've got a tip for slipping the current I picked up from a friend back when there was a PWT.

They absolutely are looking for meals! Bait goes in flats too, they chase!

15 1/4" with a big belly in the spring doesn't mean they're eating good. Just saying.

Electronics have killed the industry. Time on the water is the only thing that makes you a better fisherman. Actual learning the seasons and how fish move and relate to certain structure in person will outweigh your computers every time. Electronics do not make you a fisherman. Confidence comes with experience not some fancy gadget.
