My buddy and I got 83 of those monster smallies between us one day in this area, plain jig small fatheads, it didn't even hit the water sometimes before they were hooked , what a fantastic fishery, those are as pretty as a peacock bass to me, everything in that bay has great color to it , the guides up there are great and affordable because they can put you on like 10 different species that all run bigger in the bay, like the "northern gulf"🤘🤪🤘

Those son of a b*t chin pike jus put me in urgent care last night ( hook buried in finger way past barb with pike on other side still going insane ) but I still can’t help but love em :)
