Look at the would you, a weekly press conference for the football coach. But, sadly, no weekly press conference for the 7 time national champion, currently undefeated, number 1 ranked Badger Womens hockey coach. And that dude won the Miracle on Ice. But year, we talked to him in March of 2024, so we see how AD Chris McIntosh is about womens sports.

@@Rodgerzgoat Well, this is not a beauty contest, or a popularity contest. This is a university, in which hundreds of student athletes work to win games. And judging by the consistent level of sell outs at LaBahn arena, and the amount of people who watch on the Big Ten Network, I would say you are wrong. Lots of programs have EARNED through winning, the respect of the athletic department, and AD Chris McIntosh refuses to celebrate them.

@@DinoCorvinoWisconsin Football has so many more viewers than woman’s hockey it’s not even close. There’s a reason the football team makes money for the university while the woman’s hockey team does not.

@@georgegissel226 I do not care about any of that. This is not a beauty contest. This is not ratings based. The things that appear on this youtube channel are decided on by AD Chris McIntosh and his staff. And his staff chooses to NOT celebrate the work of Coach Mark Johnson. Who, along with his father who is literally and forever knows as BADGER BOB, have 1000 wins as Badger Hockey coaches. Coach Mark Johnson has 7 national championships. Is the head coach of the undefeated, number 1 ranked Badger Womens Hockey team, and Coach Mark has not appeared on this youtube platform since March 2024. I do not think that I have called for equal dollars, but the choice to NOT CELEBRATE womens hockey is the hallmark of AD Chris McIntosh time as a leader at Wisconsin. Daryl Watts was not celebrated, even though she is a generational talent who won the Patty Kaz as a freshman (only one ever) and in her senior year as a Badger was the number 2 all time point getter, and this was never mentioned as she tried to become number one. So, yeah, putting 90 thousand in Camp Randall is amazing and worthy of celebration, so is 7 Nattys, countless Olympias, countless conference champs. I would also add, if its about popularity, tell me why the wrestling coach gets more celebration than the Womens Hockey Coach. I mean, the department makes a HOCKEY DIGEST hosted by Brian Posick, and Posick almost never mentions womens hockey. and Posick is the dad of Maddie Posick, a female hockey player. Count the number of cynamitic previews for mens hockey during the Granato years. They had an entire first day with the new mens video. And never did the same with the guy who beat the Russians. I could do this all day. These athletes have earned celebration. And AD Chris McIntosh chooses to ignore them.
