I've always been a Badger football fan but Coach Tressel has always had my respect. A good man and I'm sure all of his past players would say say the same thing.

What a show. I remember growing up as a kid watching Tress on the sidelines thinking he has the best job on the planet. Remember seeing fickle take over for a year as our head coach, thinking he may not be Tressel yet but he will be one day. Two amazing people!

Not an OSU fan, but I've always liked Tressel. He always seemed like a nice down to earth guy.

We were blessed to have him at YSU and Ohio State. YSU will most likely never have that level of sustained success again.

This discussion brought me back to my years of teaching first grade. The basis for growing a classroom (team) each year was to first instill self confidence and self discipline (responsibility) in the students. Then they could take ownership of their classroom and help each other out as they worked together. They felt a responsibility towards each other as well as themselves. This meant that I, as the teacher, could spend my time teaching and interacting with them instead of disciplining them.

I wanted Coach Fickell at Notre Dame so bad it made me sick, I love Coach Freeman and I hope succeeds of course but Luke Fickell has something I couldn’t put my finger on, he was a great wrestler now I know. He gets that side and the team side.

I love Jim Tressell, my favorite coach and all of college football history. But Luke fickle is a bad ass. What an incredible wrestler. So proud to see what he’s accomplished. I hope he wins the national championships as a coach. He deserves it.
