That's like saying I'm going to ridicule people wearing blue shirts. Not all Christians area alike. Hell, not all people of any group are all alike. Some of the best people, real people, honest, dependable, kind, fair, loving people I've met are Christians. Your comment is indicative more of what you are than what any Christian is
@veilbreak58677 жыл бұрын
You sound like an angsty teenager. Arrogant little know it all. She was a Christian, not a religious freak. Not pushing her belief onto anyone else. Religion, faith, or lack of makes for fascinating and endless debate and discussion. The theory that we're living in a sort of hologram, that would have had to be created by an entity is very similar to the belief in God as a creator. Yet isn't mocked the way Christianity is. And your contribution to the debate mankind has had since the dawn of humanity is to ridicule a 90 year old woman who has settled on a belief in Jesus as Saviour. The NWO would love you! dumbed down, no argument in you. Comply and conform. Never question. And make fun of anyone who still has the capacity for free thought. But you have free speech, shame you don't have the capacity of free thought to utilize your speech in a powerful and productive way.

Granted, not every person my age is like that, but they are like trying to find an honest politician in Washington. Those topics actually say alot about the kind of person they are, and how many times they screwed up and learned from their mistakes. Life is just about how many times you try again after you fail.

***** What do you mean?
@dsbiddle7 жыл бұрын
***** YOU There's just to many unexplainable things and issues in the world. RESPONSE There are many things and issues for which we don't have explanations. True. YOU Its hard to believe in God when the signs point otherwise... RESPONSE Would you mind giving me a few examples of these signs you're referring to?
@dsbiddle7 жыл бұрын
***** YOU Why would God be putting us on this Earth if he already knows our fate? RESPONSE That's a fair question. However, not knowing the answer does not logically conclude that God doesn't exist. Secondly, most Christians probably view God as omniscient, knowing every future event but that is a Biblical interpretation. There are Christian open theists who do not believe that God knows the future as if it already happened. YOU Surley its too harsh and even cruel to have such horrible incididnts happen in this world from the actions of God who is so merciful. RESPONSE There are many harsh and cruel things which happen in the world. However, with all due respect, I don't think that logically concludes that God doesn't exist either. Not knowing or fully understanding God's motivations doesn't mean He doesn't exist. According to the Bible, God's mercy is that sinners who deserve destruction may be saved by God's grace through faith. We live in a world that was created without suffering or death. When man sinned, death entered the world. And because all sin, all die. It was not only man that suffered from sin. The very ground was cursed and nature suffers along with us. Much of the suffering in this world is man-made. We do it to each other. That's not God's fault. There is suffering because of disease and natural disasters. This is part of the natural order of the fallen world we live in. And in the meantime, God offers redemption and salvation through a savior He sent, a savior who lived without sin and fulfilled the requirement that the first man failed to meet. So while God restrains Himself and suffering goes on in the world, the Bible says that God WILL intervene. And the result will be the destruction of the unrepentant. And to the repentant, those who have accepted salvation through the savior God has sent - they will receive eternal life. The earth will be made new, death and suffering will be removed and we will live forever in fellowship with God again. YOU As much I would like to believe in God (in an abrihamic type way) it just isnt possible anymore RESPONSE I felt exactly the opposite. Many times, I want to give in to certain wrong desires and lusts. Many times I would like to return to the way i used to be. But I can no longer go back to that life because Jesus Christ has changed my life, opened my eyes, and there's no returning. I became a Christian when I was 30 years old. I began to read the Bible to prove to myself that the people at the church I started going to were hypocrites. Jesus said something that changed my life forever. He said if you lust after a women, you've committed adultery with her in your heart. And he said that if you are angry with someone without cause, you are under the same judgment as a murderer. I used to think I was a good person. But it had never occurred to me that God might see my heart. And if He saw what was in my heart, not only was i not a good person, I was a disgusting person and I was rightfully in a lot of trouble. I never realized (well, I had just never thought about it) I was guilty of horrible things in my heart. Those two passages from Matthew 5 chaged my whole life. So I began to read the Bible completely differently, wondering what this guy Jesus (I never knew who Jesus was, not even an inkling, until I was 30 and began reading the Bible) had to say about a person like me and where I stood. And from that point, Jesus Christ changed my life and I was baptized about a year later. The more I think about it, the fewer and fewer reasons there are to believe that God doesn't exist. And in fact, I don't think there is any evidence for the non-existence of God. I think that all the reasons people give to justify belief in the non-existence of God are arguments from personal incredulity, arguments from ignorance, or the fallacy fallacy. And I'm not saying you're doing that on purpose. Those are the honest reasons I think many people believe there is no God. But I don't think they've really spent the time to analyze those reasons. I don't think they hold up. You are going to die. That's for sure. If there's a possibility that death is not the end, if there's a possibility that the things we do in this life affect our eternal destination, if there's a possibility that our beliefs affect our loved ones and friends and our rash mistakes could lead to their destruction, isn't it reasonable to reach out, look for God with all your heart? The Bible says that you will find God if you seek Him with all your heart. It also says that the forgiveness of sins and eternal life is attained by faith in Jesus Christ and Him alone.
@dsbiddle7 жыл бұрын
***** There are answers to all those questions. We may not have all the details but the Lord has given us everything we need to know in order to live a holy, righteous life culminating in eternal life through faith in Jesus the Christ. It is certainly in style to mock Christianity but if it's the truth, then the taunts and reproach of people who are perishing is ultimately meaningless. And I am a Christian because I believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ is the truth.

+Luchace Fox Not sure what you mean but maybe you need to learn how to be more respectful of the elders. I guess I was impatient with them in my teens/early 20's but the older one gets, the wiser they become! They are like a good book...they've been around to know much more than anyone younger than them & usually enjoy talking about it! We need to make the most of our time with them!! They are our history in the flesh~ Peace to all ~

sir master the drugs today are WAY worse than they used to be
@XxSwiftDemisexX7 жыл бұрын
The issue doesn't lie with the drugs, it lies in the fact that most people nowadays don't give a shit how they get high, as long as it gets them high. Research chemicals and amphetamines wouldn't be being passed off as LSD and Molly nearly as effectively if people actually gave a shit what they were taking. Besides, your average millennial won't go out of their way to take something that might expand their mindset; what if it violates your safe space or makes you realize you are a shell of a person?

@crocodile78018 жыл бұрын
***** In this way I am wrong, that man's nature is the inherent & core issue - we are figuratively and literally "hell bent". It is why it says the wages, a thing earned, of sin is eternal condemnation. The post WWII generation has just accelerated that which is inevitable. Although my earthly citizenship is in the US for which I am very grateful; my true citizenship is with Christ. Safe in the arms of God. I hope Louis that you have surrendered your life to Christ, for He is the perfect Master and the larger burden is on the Master, not the slave. For the Master must provide for the slave many things while the slave obeys the Master. Unlike man's idea of slavery; God's is perfection and we are either slaves to the world and Satan or to Christ and no one who ever looked at the actual definition of "freedom" can say they have it; yet looking at the word "enslaved", no one can say they are not.

Getting a job is something that many people want to do. It kinda gets difficult though when there is high taxation and national debt and all, for example to pay for other people's pensions. And it's not like people are taught anything useful in government schools, which they are forced to be in for years.
