Isnt Monroe anti-lgbt though? Like a primitive idiot? Or what? I heard he is? Tell me if he isnt, but i heard so. I mean, isnt he against same-sex-marriage, even though thats factual and objectively wrong to be? Even though all facts say that being Gay is totally natural? People are just born like that? People are just born like that and its common sense for everyone who talked with gay people that its like that. Its common sense and not having common sense aint an amazing thing, yeah?

Strongly disagree love does keep a marriage. For 1 God is love. For 2 love in the mainstream way of looking at it doesn't keep a marriage because that kind of love doesn't last. The love that deals with how you feel. Feelings change. True love isn't a feeling. To teach love doesn't keep a marriage is very false and dangerous to teach

M H, in my late 60's God taught me a lesson, He's eternity and your age doesn't matter with Him. Look at Abraham, at 100 hundred, and not only did he have Isaac, he had several more sons and daughters until he had to send them away so, who many more he could've had. God bless!!!

To intentionally seek knowledge (information) in regards to my girlfriend: Learning her triggers, what motivates her, her past, etc. Once that information is attained I must comprehend the information in order to utilize wisdom and that is measured by my ability to effectively and consistently apply everything that was attained and assimilate to a person that loves according to her needs and wants.

If any comment-section, it should be this one, or so i thought. ...Point is: I just found a yt-channel that is really incredible and has the Audacity to literally be called 'Normalizing Nudity'. It has made its channel-concept just Nude Woman (and only woman, which alone is telling, aye?). Every single Video should be reported, as well as the channel. Hope this aint too much to ask of you, but i hope you find the time and spine. Not anyone has the spine to report to help the plattform and its users, after all... Normalizing nudity on youtube is really one of many problems. Racism, Sexism, of course too, but right now, I'm most worries with the Nudity and the related issues (like objectifying woman; especially objectifying lesbians, and all such)... Hope you find the time and strength to help youtube and its users (us all). Reporting issues, so they get removed, might help if we do it enough. Whetever its Bullying or whatever else; just name an issue.

Love is the foundation for all relationships---love God with all our heart and to love neighbor as ourselves. As in 1 cor 13:4-8 ''Love suffers long and is kind, love does not envy, does not behave rudely, does not seek it's own, thinks no evil, bears all things, endures all things and love never fails.'' If you have no love --you are nothing. Love is Maturity........'Be you mature even as I am mature.

In the Proverbs it was mentioned almost like a riddle yet direct at the same time. The Bible gave the one with highest priority nut then to be there you need to start some where - knowledge. Then you work you way back up. Like a pyramid each level is harder so we have be more focus and diligent. 1. Know about your spouse and know your spouse, find out the why then apply the 'know' and 'why'. 2. Affection? Respect? What is this new language? The language which our spouse knows and understand.

I recommend the Bible! We all need the holy spirit to truly love. I read my share of books and understood about love & respect. It's a whole different ballgame when married. Simple fact that we have to apply it and it involves. Denying self, picking up your cross and following Jesus.

Lesson 1 : The ability to correctly apply gathered knowledge is wisdom Lesson 2: You have to have the right information on a subject before you cam excel at it like marriage. Lesson 3: Don't get knowledge from people/businesses/books that have not provided the results you want. Great video. Dr. Myles sure was a great thinker.

Knowledge, Understanding and Wisdom are the key things which keep a relationship alive as much as love is present Through the Bible we already have the knowledge in our hands, we should ask God to help us comprehend that information and apply it correctly in our lives

Thank God I Understand this. I have always said. Going into a relationship. YOU NEED TO KNOW THAT PERSON. KNOWLEDGE Thank You Jesus! I myself at 54 yrs old meeting someone I want to Know what it is that Keeps you operating without puttputting...through life. 2 failed marriages because I DIDN'T Maintain the engine(HEART) of my MAN. Had the attitude of I'll get another. Coming from someone that has the nerve to say, "If you ever want to have anything, show you can care for what you have". Didn't take my own advice. I really have to say I always did enjoy Dr. Munroe. A Great Teacher

So you shouldn't break off the relationship if you are still learning that person within the first two years. Learning and understanding takes time. People learn differently. Some people are better experienced than others. Relationships require patience too.

This was one of the best teaching I used to watch before I got into a relationship. But after couple of months, we finally split with my partner, the reason of our breaking up was, I was not respected, she didn't trust me, she was insulting me all the time, exposing to her friends and family, humiliation, named-calling me, meanwhile I loved her for real and gave her affection

Marriage - from the beginning with Adam & Eve.... YHWH creates woman to be not only truly part of man (created from the rib of man) but a helpmeet suitable (partner in every sense). The most fascinating part for me that seems many I talk with haven’t stopped to consider is Adam calls Eve - bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh (a union inseparable) and they hadn’t even “known each other” yet.... something that didn’t happen until after the fall and being taken out of paradise... Adam instinctively understood the leave & cleave and that oneness and the set apart order of YHWH serves us best when we check our will (flesh) at the gate, and cleave to the interdependence of the cord of 3. Only then are we able to demonstrate our Abba YHWH’s eternal illustration of LOVE (charity) - 1 Corinthians 13, Galatians 5:22-25 several references in the book of John etc... Yet this love holds no scriptural prerequisite to the act of marriage - “knowing each other” (complete oneness) the first example that comes to my mind is Jacob and Leah then even Rachel or Bilah or Zilpah - LOVE was not gushy and I don’t recall it being said in exchange in scriptural account, like is customary in current customs... but was understood and established, by that, which from the beginning (Adam/Eve) Respect & Charity expressed by reliance upon YHWH and submitting one to another. (Esteeming each one as a greater importance than self).. From antiquity marriage served for many purposes - procreation, protection, efficiency, etc... the greatest significances are how they help us learn to not only get a better glimpse of YHWH’s faithful unfailing and inseparable love (Israel &Judah) ~(YaHuSHuA Messiah) deliverance of our iniquities - thru obedience sacrifice and death... LOVE Marriage today I really don’t know the allure or motivation... signifies little if any of the mystery from antiquity- wrapped up in pretty paper (words) of undying love (usually of superficial self) in a generation indoctrinated by the fallacy love is about self, for self, flippantly used to express fondness for everything - And the that we fall into love - fall out of love - lose that lovin feeling - love is a power - yet it cripples - on and on. Bottom line - I did not know this when I got married 27 years ago - so thankful YHWH has been teaching me - that love and marriage have absolutely nothing to do with each other... Marriage is a schoolmaster, Marriage is never for or about me, myself or I, Marriage is a partnership, Marriage is work, Marriage is an illustration of YHWH’s redemptive plan, Marriage is a feast, Marriage lasts as long as the bodies of those married have life, Marriage is only given by YHWH and no other institutions can join people in marriage and/or separate that which is inseparable by the first words Adam spoke to Eve - “you are now bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh”., Marriage is NOT based on Love but like the real definition of Love is Verb demonstrated as a noun (Mariam Webster) Marriage is the unifying of two into one. Marriage is not for gratification of the flesh. Marriage not called out or required by YHWH. Martial status doesn’t make anyone more or less important. Marriages truly are not arranged or designed by us or for us only in what the relevance is to eternal significance... thank you for this video - wow spot on!!!

It's a revolving cycle, her respect produces more affection, his affection produces more respect. You must first find out HOW your partner defines each word, then study to see God defines each word.

I feel that the term “love” is being misused in the context of this message. Most people don’t understand what it means to love. To ‘understand’ is to ‘love’. I feel the proper term to use in place of love, in dr. Monroe’s context, is “infatuation”. Infatuation won’t guarantee a happy marriage or guarantee anything good in a relationship. But to be obedient to love is to take the time to gain knowledge and apply it to become wise and understanding. That is love.
