This has been my life since I was a child... But I have a devil of a time with the gossip bug... I am making a conscious effort but there are people in my life that seem to "trigger" the behavior. I WILL DEFEAT THE GOSSIP BUG!

You are living through your ego when you gossip. Without understanding it you are seeking validation from those you are giving the gossip to. To help yourself work through the 'gossip bug' be aware of the emotion you feel just before and after gossiping. Also become aware of the feeling you get when you gossip and have that emotion. It takes a little work however you can get past this pitfall and learn something important about yourself in the process.

Yes I don't even bother declaring my charity contributions on my taxes. And yes I don't tell anybody most things I experience b/c most people will just think I'm crazy (except one friend who I know is psychic and will believe me). And my personal projects and learning regarding my spirituality I keep almost entirely to myself for the same reason... yes, I just give people advice like "listen to your body," "take care of yourself first," "gotta have boundaries," etc., but that's it.

'Highly spiritul people' will not tell the world, what they are'. You forgot that one. I don't agree, that others always feel bless, when they are around us. We are holding up a mirror, and a lot of people, do not like what they see, and run. And when it feels necessary, we will speak out. We don't lie, to give the other an ego boost. When asked, we will tell them the truth. And the truth is sometimes, hard to bare.
