Hey TWIN SUNS. If you've invested a Wise balance, for example, your GBP, and put that into Stocks or Interest then you can just spend up to 97% freely. Just use your WISE card or withdraw money from an ATM. If you wanted to avoid this happening and you wanted to ring-fence your investment then you would need to put the money into a Jar and then transfer that to Interest or Stocks. What I want to know is, im in the US, so how do i use the card to buy something online from a different country in their currency? Example: lets say I have US & Mexico funds in my account and i want to go to a mexico online store to buy something using the mexico funds? Do I need to get two different cards ? One for each currency? Also, when the Mexico site asks for the card details, it wont let me input the REAL USA Details because the cards Address HAS to be based in that Country (in this example Mexico). What do i do??? Please help 🙏

Hey Luigi! It's a lot simpler than you think, you just use your WISE card to pay for something on the Mexican website, and WISE will deduct the money from your Mexican Peso balance. If you don't have enough money, they'll then deduct from the next currency you do have that would give you the best exchange rate. You only have one WISE card and you use it for every transaction, no matter the currencies or country. That address problem is tricky, WISE do have an address in Mexico (wise.com/help/articles/2974131/what-are-the-wise-group-entities) so why don't you try to enter that? That may work but I must say I can't be sure as I haven't encountered an issue like this before. ^Jonny

Given that I want to go online shopping on an international site (for example buying Casetify phone cases), will Wise card able to do that? Items sold in Casetify website are in USD currency, while I am in the Philipines?

Yes absolutely, WISE would be a great card to use for a foreign transaction in USD. Just load the card with PHP and make the transaction using your WISE card. ^Jonny

Ahh yes, I should have guessed! Both Revolut and WISE could be good choices. Although I think Revolut would be the best. With their free Standard account, you would get $1,000 of fee-free currency exchange which WISE does not offer, they also use the mid-market rate like WISE, AND their ATM withdrawal fees a better than Wise. Hey! I'm 99% sure you cannot do this. Wise will ask for Singaporean proof of residency and the residency you provide will be where the card is shipped. While you could likely open the account and just use a virtual card, you won't be able to get the physical card. Could you just use a Wise virtual card with Apple or Google Pay? And is it an option to get someone in Singapore to ship you the card? ^Jonny

@Monito yesterday I got call from niyo, and I was told that I am eligible for niyo. But in the present situation is niyo good as there are some restriction for niyo from the reserve Bank of india. I won't be doing any domestic transactions, everything will be in europe. So in that case going forward with niyo will be difficult itseems

You can do that, you just deposit your local currency into your WISE account and exchange it for Pakistani rupee. You would then just spend those rupees in Pakistan just like a local. ^Jonny

B-Dude is correct, you would need proof of residency in Europe. If you could prove that you lived in Europe with your family, you could then receive the card to your family's address in Spain and then use it. Unfortunately, there aren't any digital banks that compare to Wise in Algeria. ^Jonny

It’s must transfer first in the Wise account , then my account in Wise. Am I right? @@marioximenesfreitas5822 I don't have a business bank account with wise but they do offer them so you probably can. So you should be able to. It only cost me £15 to open an account. Just open an account with them and find out.
