KZbin doesn't allow me to update my post... 4. Sure the fees are great, but frankly, I find it quite unfamiliar, even complicated. 5. Wise has you take your photo and submit it. None of the big Canadian banks do this.

@@zineddinechaoua9273 I messed up .However with the app does it really take over a week for a transfer to be be released to the reciever ?I see now you pay a crap exchange rate with the rest of the cash transfer apps because it is almost instant ? it was a bit of a hassle to get a physical bankcard to do more then just interent purchase threw the bank connected to wise

Only four of the nine currencies support direct debit. CAD is not one of them.

If you work on the US but live in Canada, I would recommend you create a Wise account with your Canadian details and the open up a US and Canada account within Wise. Then you can easily get paid to your USD account and transfer to your CAD Wise account or any other bank

Yes, you sign up for Wise first, then connect your bank to the account. You can ask their help for more info

Great video!! Question for you. I will be buying a home is Spain in the next few months, I just came from the bank here in Canada and was told I need to be HERE in Canada the max is $2500 through a 3rd party, anc i can not use them to send a large of a sum of money. That did not make sense.. I call customer service they told me the same thing. Q. How can i send high 6 figures to using "Wise" if my sending bank is in Canada and i will be receiving the money in Europe? Thanks!

Thats who I bank with as well and need that question answered . I want to switch banks because due to an accident I am on insurance for an income and they dont accept that income for buying a house . I live in home and bring in 3100 clear a month and I cant get a mortage with 10% down on just a $60 000 mortage . Then money lenders wont help me because the mortage is under 100 000 . plus they arent helpful with investment advice and options to have your money make you money like we all need . With wise having a 5% saving account how much will that acctually earn you on $3500 . Because with rbc it earns $5 a month . wtf is that going to do for a person realy ? I don't know how to invest myself . which firms give good service with a low fee ? Best rbc option is rdsp that doubles what you input but loose 30% when you start your with drawls after 65 with a max of 11% when you use the hitgh risk fund option . You ask for stock advice because they have a stock option and they customer service says they arent involved in stockmarket investing .

Greatings, i have wise from USA and i need receive a payment from Canadian client, but she tell me that de most people use a e-mail for interac e-transfer, she has RBC and i understand that the bank of Wise is People Trust Company, so... i can receive interac e transfer with wise? or how can she transfer to my wise? cuze' she didn't see any option to transfer an other bank in Canada in her RBC app
