In my experience, Revolut has offered lower fees than Wise but not during the weekend (talking about paying abroad in another currency). That being said my Revolut card didn't work in Brazil (credito or debito made no difference) and couldn't even withdraw money with it, whereas I had no problem with Wise

Great video, still a little stuck on getting what card? So I am from New Zealand and will be traveling to Europe and the UK for 1 month with some family. We would like to get a card that we can deposit NZD and pay and Withdraw money with their currency so £ and €. We probably mainly use the card itself to pay for essentials items such as food and accommodation. What card would you recommend I get wise or revolut ?

Wise. You don’t have to pay a 1% FX surcharge when you convert your currency during the weekend on their app. You also don’t have to pay the surcharge if Wise automatically converts it for you when you make purchases at Point of Sale terminals or withdraw cash at ATMs during the weekend (UK Time Zone). With Revolut, there’s always a 1% FX surcharge when the conversion occurs in the weekend.

Yes, you can. In the app or on the website, you can just click on the add money button in that balance you want to add money to. You can add via card, or bank transfer. Its worth noting that getting account details for your Wise account can make the process simpler.

Revolut needs tax information number even from house wives who do not work , ridiculous ! Its been a year that i am using it , and twice i have received treats of closing the account if i do not provide a tax number . They seem not to understand the customer situation !!

I've been using Wise since 2015 and never been disappointed only the drawdown is the fees which are sometimes higher but for the speed that's good 😊

Wise locks accounts with no reason explanation. Sooner rather than later you'll get ripped and left with no money for living. I have a very bad experience of using wise.

It's been 7 working days I sent 4500€ to my Wise account but still not seen the money on my Wise balance. Called my bank, and they said they've sent the money since last Thursday. Yall be careful while using Wise. They can leave you stranded

No, I didn’t put money in that account. It just kept asked me about my tax number, so I deleted it and deactivated my account

Revolut is known to often wrongly block accounts... Better not to keep much money there, just what you need in the immediate timw
