You are such a sweet soul. I loved it when you said that you liked supporting MADE N THE U. S. A. HELPING FAMILIES. Thank you for doing this video. I just purchased the SHELANDY 3.2 hp for my standard poodle. $75. It’s got to be better than using my wife’s hair dryer. lol. Wish you and your family the best of EVERYTHING in life. God bless

Another reason why it might be a good investment is because of the amazing resale value you could use the K-9 blower for a few years and sell it probably to get at least half the value if not 2/3 in the used Market I imagine.... I think we need to petition that company for a group discount code for all of your viewers looking to make the leap
@jakeweill3 жыл бұрын
Awesome video. I am doing exact comparison and saw you just made a video. Perfect timing! I am looking at k9-III with variable speed knob to fine tune air velocity and a heat option -latest and greatest gizmos. I figure if it's a bit over $500 and last a lifetime for someone who plans on having pets over their life would be no brainer investment
@jakeweill3 жыл бұрын
I agree the other little blower is better for the money unless you have a Nordic dog and need the extra power to go through and get the undercoat out quickly before they become irritated then the k9 series works best
@TheMalamutePack3 жыл бұрын
Since I did this video we have use both blowers but we use the K9 wayyyy more the only 2 time we use the cheaper version was a few weeks ago when we went to Disney we took it to blow loose hair from the car seat, we rented a cabin and we used it as leaf blower to blow leafs and fur from our deck. But for the wooly ness of the norther breed I recommend the K9 100% , the only down side is the price tag.

@@TheMalamutePack hi. Did you did the time comparison? What was the result. I have a Golden retriever male...
@TheMalamutePack3 жыл бұрын
@@medardomanciati3727 I have use both since this video and the K9 is faster at drying, the only downside is that gets way too hot and we have to stop. The cheap one have the option to turn off the heat so we can keep going but takes a lot longer cause have less power
@medardomanciati37273 жыл бұрын
@@TheMalamutePack thank-you very much for your response. In minutes, how many minutes took to dry one dog with the k9 and to the same dog with the cheapest one.? It hasn't be exactly..
@TheMalamutePack3 жыл бұрын
@@medardomanciati3727 the k9 take us around 45 to 1 hrs per dog but after like 20 mins we have to take a 2-3 mins brake for it to cool off cause get too hot for my hands and for the dog ( the new k9 iii I believe have the option to turn off the heat). Malamutes have double coat and its very tick. The other one take over 1 hr but we don´t have to stop we just turn the heat off and keep going. The best part of the cheaper one is the weight, we took it on a trip to Disney to blow the loose hair from our cabin is perfect for traveling... but have in mind you get what you paid for... the plastic feels and look cheap vs the k9 is rubber and feel more sturdy.

So why did this K-9 dryer get so many bad reviews?
@TheMalamutePack2 жыл бұрын
Well I don’t know if they new ones are bad 🤷🏻♀️ I have this one for years and still going strong, we use the cheaper one to travel, but still use the k9 at home most of the times

Why would the heating feature be nice in summer when it's really hot? Doesn't make any sense. Actually you should be very very careful using hot air to dry a dogs coat since the skin is sensitive to heat.
@CNile-se9xw2 ай бұрын
@badwolfat You are correct about how dogs are sensitive to heat, but I doubt she's recommending using the heating element in summer. It's just there if you need it.

The k9 is the best in everything, only its price is very high,

The k9 is great my only complain is that is only hot air, I wish had the option to choose cool air.

I like the fact the K9 II is all metal, made in the USA, and comes in a variety of colors. I would buy one in green.
@revoakes89842 ай бұрын
@@TheMalamutePack The K9 doesn't heat the air directly; it's just that the air flowing past the motor results in heat. All you have to do is to make sure not to hold the dryer in one place long enough to heat the skin.

Just a question, is the $75 blower too noisy to use in an apartment?
@TheMalamutePack3 жыл бұрын
Its less noisy than the $400 one for sure but still is louder than a traditional hair blower. Depends on how well the insolation of your apartment is, I will say is a little bit louder than a vacuum cleaner
@rhondak75472 ай бұрын
All force dryers are noisy one may be a little quieter but still very noisy
