We've been working with Tom for 17 years now, and your video does him justice. He is indeed the man with the most designs firsts in the history of golf (including the now popular high COR faces on irons), and is an incredible and reachable guy. I played the 555M, the 575M, and now a Sterling one-length set, his 919 THI driver and 929HS woods, they're all amazing, if fit correctly obviously. I have been playing the 565mcs for the past year and they really are the best set of irons I have owned! They deserve a lot more attention then they do! Thanks for bringing the review and please bring more wishon to the channel. Would love a driver review

Great review. Thank you. I am playing a set of Wishon 560 MC since about 11 years and I still love them. Hitting a proper shot with my 5 iron is one of the best feelings I know ... However, I am considering getting new irons this year and your review really made me consider to give the 585 a try and t put them on my shortlist.

I have also had a set of 560MC's since 2015 and I absolutely love them. The reason I'm on this video is because I was on Tom's site looking at possibly upgrading but I really like these lol

You'll never buy a better set of clubs than custom-built, custom fit Wishon clubs from a master clubmaker. There isn't a human being alive today who knows more about golf equipment design, performance and custom fitting than Tom Wishon.

Hi, I have being playing Wishon 555 forged irons for a dozen years. In 5 to 7 in a shallow cavity and muscle back 8 to gap wedge. A couple of years ago I swapped from steel to graphite shafts as I’m nearly 60. Throw in a couple of Wishon hybrids and the 949MC fairway and I have enjoyed this set I had custom fitted for me and still use as I have found nothing better and yes I have played Mizuno, Titleist and other forgings. Cracking clubs especially when custom fitted.

I've been playing my 555M irons for 20 years. I cannot recommend them highly enough. My 4i feels like butter and the ball lands softly. 😊

I've just got my first set of nice used clubs (mizuno mp53s) But if I'm ever in a position to actually get fitted I think it'll have to be these 585s... would love an MOI matched set.

I was fitted into a couple of the wishon hybrids a few years ago and they are very nice feeling and performing clubs . These irons are nice looking. Do you think the forgiveness of the wishon is better or are the about the same ?

Do you MOI match these irons as part of a fitting? As that is really what Tom has developed over the last few years, also the step increase in length of the irons do they go 1/2in or 3/8?

Yeah I don't think mics ever really accurately represent real world sound. Unless maybe you have some very expensive set up

What do you consider a "better player"?

@@allenwoods1768 someone who can strike the ball well and reasonably consistently. Mainly single figures I'd say. But the equipment they get fitted for doesn't have to reflect their handicap. Sometimes the bigger stinger lofter irons are terrible for higher handicaps

I play the EQX-NX single length. I’m custom fit but I can’t say I love them very much. Cheap material of the head. Chinese quality. Every time thinking how to play those. I think Tom Wishon have better set of clubs or I am not fitted properly. Difficult to say.

Yes I’m fitted. I am living in the Netherlands. Good club fitter I believe. For now my game is getting better but one single length irons are not very easy to Play. You must be a good ball striker also.
