I remember this song well and all those WISN 12 commercials, probably have a few on old VHS tapes. I did not know until this video that the song was written in Cleveland in 1977 and what is also interesting about that is the "Welcome to Cleveland" sign on that guys roof near the airport. Just read up on that and that was put there in 1978, but is completely unrelated to where Hello Milwaukee was written. Very strange as the guy that put up the sign just randomly picked Cleveland over Milwaukee to welcome travelers. Anyway, thank you for the history lesson and good to see Kathy Mykleby still on the air.
