You are now the MASTER, I really liked this video and how you approached by cutting everything no matter the size. Your equipment as you are proving is capable of any terrain. Yeah maybe it is slower but that is not bad as long as the end product leaves the customer with a smile... Great job!!!

I love wisteria... trained the right way and controlled... its fragrance is wonderful and the vines are decorative, and the flowers are colorful and beautiful. I wonder if wisteria has a symbiotic relationship with trees, watering and protecting them also

My u55-5 came in just over a month ago and I've been on the lookout for a mower for it so I've been watching your channel closely for a while now. Looks like forestry/mulcher style is hard to beat if you could pick just one. Until this video, I was leaning toward a rotary but I believe my mind is made up now. Thanks for taking the time to shoot and post this content.
@LukeOrrOfficial Жыл бұрын
I run both at work, Fecon mulcher and CID rotary on a Vio55. My 2 cents would be get the rotary mower (or maybe a flail mower) first, they cost around 10k, I was told our Fecon was $28k, but if you clear land a lot you'll eventually want both haha.

Some day take a trip out to California and see the Redwoods. I forget how many people holding hands it takes to circle the trees. Great place to go camping, but make camping appts for a year in advance or you'll never get in. Then move to the North and hit Sequoia Nat'l Park for trees so big, the road goes right THROUGH them! You are actually driving through the middle of trees that are hollowed out to drive vehicles through! Great experience if you have kids.

You earned your money on that job ! Good Job Brother !! The owner needs to put on some Ranger on the cleared out area now and it will kill that wisteria and just about everything else .

Well, I feel better about my VT to Seattle flight I was on the day you did this......whew! I did a vine/brush clearing job on our property two weeks ago in upstate NY which was just the wild grape and ivy stuff. Used my weed-whacker pole saw attachment. Interesting thing was that I came to the same conclusion.......had to start high and work toward the ground or it just wouldn't work. Nice video. Question: Is the wisteria used for any paper pulp applications? Man, that long resilient fiber seems like it would be ideal.....probably not enough in one place to make it economical. Be blessed with all that you need.

What kind of tree is that massive one with the seating/ walkway around it?
@TheUserid823 жыл бұрын
You are running into the hot side of the problem that happens to those wanting to make videos in cold areas of the country but the same solution will work with a different thermal material. For cold areas a heat mat they can plug into a car outlet or into a portable battery pack works but most end up going with those hand warmers but for the issue you are having those jell freezer packs they use to ship food items are what you want to avoid needing to buy ice and the issue of melting ice near electronics comes in. You will want to make a wire shelf to keep the batteries at the right height inside a cooler to keep them cool without being at/below the dew point for the area to avoid condensation from forming on a battery you pull from the cooler but it will give you batteries that are cooled down so will last longer before they start to overheat so less downtime from the machine for camera swaps.
