Welcome, my pretties! You've found your way to the autumn witch's hovel just in time. The final bits of hemlock and yew have just been added to the bubbling cauldron, and a mighty magical brew will awaken soon. Have a seat by the crackling fire and enjoy the soothing rain and cauldron sounds as you wait for the magical brew to take shape.
I'd love to hear in the comments what you think the autumn witch might be brewing in her cauldron! Some sort of calming brew? A stress relief potion?

Ooh, you're on fire! I love the bubbling and fire crackling sounds together! For some reason, your bubbling sounds always make my mouth water. There's like a squelching sound, too, and liquids in bottles, maybe? and the rain, all so well-balanced... and I think the rain sound, at least, is fluctuating...? :) The colours are so moody, and I really like the idea of the dried orange slices. Makes me think of autumn and the smell of spices, like cloves. and is that coloured corn hanging? We had those as decorations when I was growing up! My mom hung them on the wall, and we had more sometimes hanging on the front door. I always thought they were so cool. Our house was always full of natural things, like dried corn and pinecones and vines and branches and such. Now I keep bones and nests and feathers and a snake skin, and shells and pebbles and fossils, and so on. I can't help it! Maybe I'm a green witch at heart... Now, let's slice up that warm fresh bread and sit by the gothic windows! PS. The witch is brewing a potion that you spray around your house to dispel all stress. She calls it Harmonium.

I love that your mom sprinkled natural things around the house. I've been loving the idea of bringing the outdoors in with my decor. Am currently looking for a nice, integritous tree branch to hang over my bed (we're doing a mature 'magical creatures' theme!), and I want to hang things from it! There's something so calming about having touches of nature in your home. How cool that you keep bones and nests and snake skin! (Do you have a snake?) You're a green witch indeed! 🌿🍃

@@AutumnCozy Nope! I found the skin at a rock beach a few summers ago. I thought it was the coolest thing! Unfortunately, it's only a piece. That's a great idea about the branch and hanging things from it at different lengths! You can do feathers, nuts, shells, little rolled up notes to each other, just any found objects that you love! I'll send you photos of my little nature shelves. I love beachcombing and fossil hunting and just finding stuff out in nature on walks. I'm always collecting things.

I know what hovel means. To many, this would be considered a hovel. It's dingy, cold, dirty stone, and quite squalid on the outside. Everyone calls their witchy ambiences a cottage, so I went with something different is all. Thanks for thinking it's cute! 🧡
